lol, I could be wrong. Boxing is full of surprises. But Anthony Joshua? The 6'6 athletic beast who is knocking everyone out? I just don't see it. If Wladmir wins this fight, wow.
Joshua has talent no doubt! But lets face it, he got GIFTED that Gold medal (watch that final match) and look who he's been knocking out. Lol! And people are saying he's going to "Marciano/Louis" Klitschko?! Lol Man I CAN'T WAIT for the 29th of April
I'm expecting a Foreman/Moorer moment. Except Wlad will get it done well before the 10th. I'm thinking 5th or 6th.
True. But was it merely age catching up with him that meant Wlad couldn't pull the trigger, or was it the riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma that is Tyson Fury, who, taller and more mobile, took away Wlad's decade-old game plan rendering him shot-shy? Joshua can't execute the fight Fury did. The years may well have caught up with Wlad but even in his prime he would have struggled with the unique challenge of a 6' 9'' mobile HW. AJ ain't mobile, he's static. Game on I say, unless old father time has the final word.
I was thinking more like Holmes v Tyson, where the bigger, more worn fighter won't have the reflexes to stave off the inevitable onslaught. Wlads only chance is moving forward behind the feint jab, and landing a check hook the second Joshua tries to come over it. Either that....or war. And I dont see the 41 y/o fighter with the question marks surrounding his reflexes and confidence clearly diminishing, being able to engage in the war. Im personally hoping Wlad can score a KD off the hook, get up a couple points, then get an accidental butt to open a cut similar to the Williamson fight and he wins his title back via TD. The cut will keep him out of the ring for a few months, and by then he may more wisely choose retirement.
