I know, and note that I have supported Hatton through thick and thin. Hatton deserves his praise, instead he gets a lot of hate when joker **** like Katsidis and Gatti(in comparison to Hatton's level) are highly touted and treasured just because they take too many shots to the head and lack the refinement to THRASH B level opposition.

    Pfft.

    Amsterdam see's through that bull****.:deal

If Britain backed JC after he beat Eubank, he'd have gotten better fights, win or lose, would have shown the warrior inside and would have made his fans and the UK proud.

He's fun as hell to watch, that's for sure. That was the nastiest cut I've ever seen. But I expected him to have more power, maybe Amonsot just had a great chin, but I thought Katsidis didn't hurt him that often. He had the accumulation of punches going on, but not the one punch knockout style that Gatti had.

Either way I definitely look forward to seeing him again.

I dig him. What you see is what you get- no great technical ability, however he has a tonne of heart and a nice bit of power. He has great stamina and fitness due to his fanatical training regime. The guy is really fun to watch. Guys like him, are a true test to all those guys out there with a ? on their chin, or their heart for that matter- he will test them no matter who they are.

He uses a lot of really old school techniques like hitting tyres with sledge hammers and doing actions that not only use the entire body, but that also develop coordination and use the smaller muscle fibres that don't get worked by traditional weights training.

all i have to say about this subject is.

that all along the Aussie fans were saying that Katsidis will win the fans over when he fights in the USA and that is exactly what has happened.

i dont care that his defense isnt good because his heart is one of the best in boxing today. and heart will win my vote everytime.

but two fights within 6 months and he has brought you Katsidis vs Earl aswell as Katsidis vs Amonsot.

i say he deserves everything that comes his way. because at a time when boxing is getting a bit to much about defense he brings nothing but Offense like the Pheonix Suns or the Dallas Mavericks. Great to watch and it helps our sport more than it harms it.

well go watch Spinks vs Taylor again then maybe that gives you some thrills.

because in a time when boxing is all about making money and not losing and trying not to get hit.

this kid Katsidis doesnt care about all that ****. sure he loves the money part of it but he wasnt scared of facing Joan Guzamn at all in fact it was Guzman that made some bull**** excuse to pull out of the fight.
now he wants a shot at Juan Diaz and his not scared about it either. how many fighters back away from certain fights or run to fight old past prime fighters these days.

yet you dislike this kid all because he hasnt got much defense.
Poor excuse to dislike a boxer if you ask me. :good

Nothing wrong with it, glad you're aboard. These all action guys get too much regard, then when someone says otherwise, they will call on a horridly boring fight as an example of what a critic wants, when realistically I just want the best fighters to be represented and supported, ESPECIALLY guys like JMM, whom have been shafted their entire careers.
