We are quickly approaching the point where Terence Crawford is 'out of his prime' by any standard

Hopkins was already past his prime against Tito when he was 36.

It was that nonsense that you can't be prime at 35 that the GGG fans started.

He was past prime, but he was definitely at his peak form. Theres a difference.

Still in a better position than Spence

Who can barely make 147 and is one punch away from going blind after a typical career ending injury(no exaggeration)

    Both will retire soon.

    fact!
B - Hop is a perfect example of someone’s physical prime not being the prime of his career.

It would have been better if he broke away from Arum sooner, but it is what it is.

He should fight Spence in 2022, before he gets too much older. I believe the fight can be made now.

Crawford looked very good in his last fight, so he still has some milage left.

Unfortunately, the prime vs prime matchup between Spence and Crawford had long ended after Errol's accident because even if Crawford beats Errol Spence, the opposing fans will always use the accident as an excuse, even with the Garcia showing, it wouldn't be enough for those fans. The accident is now a scar that's always there. Only Crawford is definitely in his peak/prime. His body is so well preserve due to low mileage.

A boxer's prime consists of more than the age of their best fitness, speed and strength. It is that age when their physical attributes are at their best when their skills are also at their best and their experience complements the other two.

His physical prime was probably when he lost to Roy Jones and beat John David Jackson but he was still honing his skills and gaining experience. He became a better fighter during his prime........after his physical peak.

    Of course it was

I mean, it was the first time in the history of mankind anyone suggested a sportsman in his mid thirties may not be at his peak....
