It's such a shame Jr doesn't appreciate all the opportunities he gets. He's got enough raw ability to really develop but he just doesn't seem interested. What's the highest weight class a Mexican has been world champ in? With dedication surely Jr could have been a contender at LHW?

JCC jr. just didn't give a chit...and wanted to eat & feel gewooood :yep He reached #1 WBC at 154lbs in 2009 and simply moved to 160 lbs cause he was over eating :twisted: So the first title in first 2 divisions plan lost, now at 160 lbs he was supposed to be on the legacy level as Felix Trinidad winning a 3rd division belt in 160, but they settled for 1 belt. Sergio came and toke it, they tried to keep him at 160, but the boy eats alot, and with Jose gone...No one is going to keep pressuring for a 160 rating, thats why he is #1... 168 really a demotion :think
The WBC is slipping. How the hell is Chavez not already the champion of a division he has yet to ever fight in?
They're just worried he'll fight Froch for the IBF instead and want to do anything in their power to pick up fees from him.
I feel for the fighters that have been waiting in the winds. WBC is not the great green belt it once was. Even Arreola is favoured up at heavy. I'm always happy seeing a non Mexican wearing it. Must **** them off.
