We don't need a "bridgerweight" division in boxing

No sh-it. They still won't do anything about it, Sulaiman doesn't give a ****, franchise belts, new weightclasses, interim titles, you name it, he's all about those sweet fees and change.org is literally a useless website, the WBC is fully aware of what people think about their practices.

 

I think it's a good division to have tbh. The name is a bit funny as I would have just named it Super Cruiserweight but we'll get used to the name.

How many top level heavyweights do you think would be unable to make 225 on a day before weigh in? I'd say maybe a handful. You either have a pointless division in Bridgerweight for a lack of interest or you make the most important division in the history of the sport the division of overweight bums

 

Yeah personally I would have had it at about 215 or around there as I think 224 is a bit high but I do think a weight division inbetween CW and HW is needed and sending CW back down to 190 is a good idea as the gap between 175-200 is too big.

 

190 to 215 cruiserweight div would be more reasonable. I don't like it, but I can at least agree there's an argument
