Two minutes in and this is already the best one.

"Jesus Christ, you guys shouldn't yell at me; it discombobulates me!"

"Oh I'm sorry man, when you turn on the AC the heat comes full blast, I'm sorry, I'm trying and get it fixed..."
    "Why won't it turn off?!"
"That's why we call it the Mystery Mobile! :)"

"Do you know any other secrets? Like daylight savings? It happened, but this clock never really knew it..."

But its not just physical abilities that have improved in other sports.

Look at soccer, the ABILITY of players has improved massively in the last 50 years.

Same with tennis, basketball and other skilled sports.

Even completely non-athletic sports like snooker have improved beyond recognition.

I just dont understand how boxing can be the one outlier.

Do you have a logical explanation why boxing should be the ONLY sport that hasnt improved massively in the last 50 years?

I think it has improved by the way. Especially since the black and white age. Watching Jack Dempsey et al through the modern prism is hilarious.

A lot of people are quoting the improvements in other sports to suggest the same must have happened in boxing.

But a lost of sports such as cricket, tennis, rugby, soccer didn't have the same level of professionalism as boxing in the past. Boxing has been a professional sport for far longer than many other sports and the dangerous nature meant boxers couldn't take their training as lightly.

If you look at tennis players or soccer players of previous era's and their physical conditioning compared to boxers of their era there is a significant difference. Soccer players would go to the pub after a match, barely train and barely made any money, as they were paid more they became more professional and so now in today's era soccer players are as fit as many boxers now.

Basically other sports have seen improvements due to increased professionalism while boxing has always had this level of professionalism due to the dangerous nature of the sport. The other sports have simply caught up with boxing so to simply say look how superior soccer players or tennis players are now compared to the past is a deeply flawed argument.

Boxing was at its peak in the 40-90s. Boxing today simply is not what it once was.

Dempsey fought in the 1920s. You went that far back on purpose.

Weren't you the guy who said Best couldn't play if he was around today?
If Best was playing today he'd be worth as much , if not more than Messi.

Well, do you personally think that boxers as a whole, have become better?

    Because I certainly don't.

I don't think the best fighters today, across all weight classes, are better than the best fighters of the 80's and 90's, and that's just covering the last 20-30 years.

If the fighters have improved, and the skilset is higher, then surely that would mean that today's fighters are the best?

If you think that today's football teams, and today's tennis players and snooker players are the best they've ever been, that's fine.

I'm not going to disagree with you.

But be honest, and ask yourself if the same applies to boxing?

Are today's HW's the best HW's of all time?

Are today's LHW's the best if all time?

Go through each weight class asking the same question.

A snooker player from 50 years ago, may not have had a chance to have beaten Ronnie O'Sullivan.

A tennis player from 50 years ago, may not have had a chance to have beaten Rafael Nadal.

But I'll say with certainty, that's there's fighters from 50 years ago that could beat today's top guys, that includes Floyd Mayweather.

Ray Robinson is still classed as the GOAT, by respected journalists, sports writers, fighters, trainers, promoters and knowledgeable fans, yet his prime was 70 years ago.

As a whole, today's fighters are not the the greatest fighters of all time.

I dont think its fair to compare athletes from the middle of last century to now in any sport.

Ive no problem saying Jack Dempsey is one of the best HWs of all time, because of what he acheived.

h2h though he gets destroyed by modern elite Cruisers, let alone HWs

Jessie Owens is one of the best sporinters of all time, but that doesnt mean he could actually compete against modern sprinters.

George Best was one of the all time great soccer players but obviously a chain smoking alcoholic wouldn't be able to compete in modern soccer.

So I try not to compare fighters head to head over different eras.

So DiMaggio, Koufax, and Mays couldn't compete in today's baseball? Yeah...right.

You don't know what you're talking about. Best was one of the fastest and strongest players of all time.
He wasn't a marathon runner . Even Messi gets tired today. They all do.
LeTisser drank and eat junk food non stop. Are you saying he'd be no good today either?

Arnold Schwarzenegger is the greatest and most inspirational body builder of all time.
He won Mr Olympia in 1970 and set a record that has never been broken since.
Its the only comparison you should be making.

Why are you avoiding comparing boxers but insist on comaparing boxers to tennis and football players?

Go back to nursery school clown.
