    Ken Norton.

But I think Earnie is considered one of the hardest punchers because Ali who fought guys like Liston, Frazier, Foreman, Norton (all very hard punchers) said Shavers was who had hit the hardest of them. I believe later Norton, Holmes & Tex Cobb also stated Shavers was the hardest they've ever been hit.

Difference Wilder never fought anyone good in-between any of the bums he took on AJ did and do you seriously think the alphabet organisations are not corrupt they alway have and probably always will be.
and you are the one trying your best to make Wilder look better than he is by making up facts based on what ifs Ortiz never beat anyone to make him a top contender no matter how much you want him to be that a cold hard fact you clearly can not Not see past anything other than your own opinion no matter how far you are stretching your facts so I'm not going to bother replying anymore

By the way it's not as if I am the only one trying to tell you these things maybe you are just a troll getting a few laughs out of people's replys

The fact is Ortiz was ranked…end of story. You can think of the objections to it or whatever, but he was a highly ranked fighter. This is the fact!
You DO NOT have to beat an elite heavyweight to become a top 10 fighter.

like I said, I shouldn’t have got involved in such a silly childish discussion with kids on a forum.
Not taking into account the many high level boxers/coaches etc who agree with what I’m saying about putting respect on the man’s name
I have enough credentials, enough experience, have lived the sport and have spent time with some of the people we discuss, have friends and family with history with their families, have fought on the same shows as some of these guys, have history with most of the business side of boxing (managers promotors trainers etc) round mid-north england, have friends in bbbc, could get on the board fairly easily etc
But yeah some hater kids on a forum trying to talk nonsense and pick everyone’s cv apart and the timing when it’s wilder only!

    Daft man.

Enjoy the hatred, but Parker whyte Zhang or whoever you have been hyping, wish they had a career like wilder fury, aj or usyk. N I highly respect Zhang and Parker but truth is truth.

I dont mind when casual sports fans say Wilder was strong or powerful but when fans on a literal boxing forum are peddling this casual stance its disturbing. That means that PBC was so successful in their marketing and matchmaking campaign that literal fight fans are parroting this nonsense.

If Wilder was half as powerful as people say he was he wouldve KOd Fury, took the fight(s) w AJ, fought Wlad, and/or Whyte. Instead he took safe fight after safe fight. Remember Fury 1 only happened bc Fury was coming off a ~2 year layoff so it was a failed cherrypick.

Wilder clearly had power but so did Edgar Berlanga or GGG or even Keith Thurman for a period of time. The KOs and special power all stopped once the opposition became world-class.

The true ATGs at HW wouldve made Wilder into a sparring partner, honestly.

I've been saying pretty much this for a long time. When people talk about this hand of god power Wilder has I just ask name one opponent he's knocked out that anybody in the current top 10 couldn't ko and probably plenty outside the top 10.

Well said. I think Wilder was a good puncher and an ok fighter, don’t get me wrong. But this “Greatest puncher in the history of the sport” and even “Future ATG” bull**** I never bought. Even for a second.

You’re right about the sparring partner thing :D I don’t think I even need to mention what Wlad did to him. Lol

Vitali… possibly before his shoulder surgery. Like when he was between 24-28 and still really sat on his shots, yeah I’d say he thumped harder than wilder. Maybe. But Vitali always was more accurate and stronger. That’s for damn sure. Wladimir hit even harder and had better technique.

Man I miss watching those two.
