Perhaps like you, I defer technical perspectives to others better informed than myself, and as much as I disliked (hated) Wilder's lengthy holding hostage of the WBC belt cherry picking soft opposition, I have to admit Wilder's right hand and even his windmill follow-ups had a unique kind of technique to them, based on velocity, that caused a lot of damage. I only wish Wilder had have tested this out on genuine top 5 opposition, in his prime, so all this discussion would have some better context to reference.

Hate to point it out, but he KO'd some guys who were pretty durable at the time he met them, no George Chuvalos but was there really a Chuvalo around? Not saying he had the greatest resume but it does get overstated how poor it was. Consider the following:

Kelvin Price - never KO'd before DW
Damon McCreary - never KO'd before DW
Malik Scott - KO'd once before DW
Stiverne - KO'd once before DW
Duhaupas - never KO'd before DW
Szpilka - KO'd once before DW
Arreola - KO'd twice before DW, both times by champs
Washington - never KO'd before DW
Ortiz - never KO'd before DW
Breazeale - KO'd once before, by a huge puncher in Joshua

Wilder could afford to wind his punches up full power against they guys he was fighting look when AJ KO'ed Ngannou it was the type of knock out we are used to seeing from Wilder not AJ it's because AJ could put everything into the punch as he was fight someone a lot less skilled

Not if it was against the same guys Wilder was doing it against you also have to remember Ngannou was know to have a solid chin

Boxing don't work like that can not say Wilder knocked out x faster than AJ so he hits harder styles make fights my friend AJ has always been more patient AJ stopped Molina faster and with a better KO than Wilder it means squat
AJ destroying Kevin Johnson in 2 rounds means more than any KO Wilder has as he had never been stopped before or since despite going on to fight some good names after AJ like Pulev, Dubois' Hrgovic ' Bokole and Kabayel he has also been the distance with Fury and Vitali K before AJ fight

So you are telling me AJ wouldn't KO the guys Wilder did in the same fashion when he was already knocking out better fighter I think you need to rethink your take on it.
AJ would absolutely highlight reel KO them guys he also wouldn't get outboxed in the process like Wilder did

I read up until Arreola... Wladamir never fought Arreola after that no reason to read the rest until you brush up on your boxing history.

I don’t post on here often and this is why, unfortunately ppl cannot take opinions and differences in perspectives.

He said AJ disposes of wilders opponents quicker, yet according to the stats he was only capable of that 33% of the time. 66% of these fights favoured wilder.

The speed of disposing your opponent doesn’t measure how great you are in boxing, it just measures this persons hypocrisy, double standards and hatred.

Where did I say you should find another sport? Never said that you must be confused or mixed me up with some other persons post.

Respect is earned and Wilder simply never earned my respect as a so called world champion, that label comes with expectations and he simply did not meet the standards with his constant ducking and cherry picking. Now I respect the man for making a good living to provide medical care for his daughter and and I respect any man who has the bravery to step into the ring but respect as a champion, no he never met the required standard in my opinion.

Not sure why you are comparing Chisora a gatekeeper, Whyte a former top contender to Washington and Dubaupas who are journeymen. Washington only got a title shot as a late replacement for Wilder when Wawryz failed a drug test and Duhaupas had already lost to Pianeta and Teper when he fought Wilder so was hardly seen as any type of contender at any stage of his career, he was a career long journeymen. They are simply not on the same level.

    Go away you little boy.

my point about whyte and Chisora still stand.
My point is they are not world level when for example fury fought them. At that point they are pointless defences, like washing n Johan etc.
it’s like debating with kids this.
different perspectives and opinions happen in the world, this is why there’s more than one judge, more than one org belt etc.

All I’m saying is A **** defence against an unworthy opponent is allowed the odd time with everyone but wilder. In fact fury’s only defences after the wilder fights were these 2 fighters who didn’t deserve.

Whyte got a title shot after getting laid out by 40+ povetkin on his last legs. I’m a huge fan of pov and thought he’d have beaten Deontay had they fought at the time.
But this pov shouldn’t be beating whyte showed he’s not a contender, but he is a good defence?

Chisora at retirement point is a good defence?

n look at the fight these guys put up and what they did afterwards….nothing, because they aren’t worthy of that shot, similar to Johan n Washington.

just try keep your critical analysis fairly consistent and you may present a better argument.

All I know is, when you got 10 defences haters might moan about 2/3 weak defences and make out it’s all 10
