What I wanted to say was that his opponents haven't been just somebody. In his last bout he has beaten up Castillo, who had a great fight against PMF. Why not take him as a real hard opponent to Mayweather? OK, Hatton isn't Mayweather's type of showman, he's a sober british bulldog. But why not taking his 43-0 for a serious record?
You dont know what you are talking about. Comparing Hatton with Gatti is like comparing a hot air balloon to a jumbo jet. Very poor comparison. Hatton is faster than people give him credit for and has underappreciated skills... Mayweather is in for a rough night. Win, lose or draw for either guy.
Hatton as beaten knocked out Tszyu, Jose Luis Castillo, and Maussa, and has wins over Vince Phillips, "No Joke" Stewart, Tackie, Oliveira, Urango, and Callazo. We also know that his best performances come against his best competition.
Here's a question for those who dismiss Hatton as an overrated B-level fighter... What will you say about a Floyd victory on December 8th and how much would a win over Hatton enhance his legacy?
Hatton is no bum, but what you are saying is that Floyd's win will simply teach boxing fans not to hype bums and that it will be just another bum he exposed on his resume?
