lately I have been seeing people say that lomanchenko lacks power. My opinion he looks to have it all. What's the general consensus on this? 9:30pm eastern should be fun!

He has power, but his focus isn't power. He uses a whole bunch of punches and footwork to set up his power shots. He definitely does have enough power.

Yea thats what I thought too. Lomanchenko seems like a boxer-puncher hybrid that could get down and dirty or really use his defensive skills to a UD.

He can knock a guy out for sure. I don't think his power should be what's in question. I think how great his skill level actually is needs to be analyzed more. He's very flashy but you have to consider why this stuff was present against guys like Rocky Martinez and not against Salido. Tonight is going to answer a lot of questions.

Well, I don't know, his last three fights ended with knockouts,(not TKO's ) and I'll bet if you ask Roman Gonzales he will definitely say the power is there.

Not really. I always chuckle when the pac-bandwagon that has now hopped on every EE's nuts lists him as a puncher along with Kovalev and Golovkin.

Against Salido he was going 12 for the first time so he was pacing himself too much, and he was getting fouled constantly by a bigger man with no help from the ref. The same Lomachenko that you saw against Martinez was there against Salido, you saw it late in the fight when Loma hurt and toyed with Salido like no one ever has (against Gamboa and Garcia he never got dominated like that). Loma has had his flash against far greater fighters than Salido in the amateurs, it's just that there were rules in place in those fights. His boxing skill level was ATG before he turned pro, that's why I was saying he's the most complete fighter I've ever seen and that he'd be p4p number one within 10 fights, before he'd fought as a pro. I was ridiculed on boxing forums for those comments, as I said then "Let's see what happens then"..... I knew and others are catching on now. Walters is very formidable so we'll see how Loma handles him.
