We know Pac was great, but give props to Freddie Roach!

Just sayin. He drew out this fight plan. An earlier version of Pac may not have beaten Cotto.

The thing about Pacman now is that he doesn't just lunge on the inside anymore to unleash his shots ! Fighting much bigger boys also has lots to do with him showing much better poise in there.

Not only that but Freddie cited the fact that Cotto's corner would be too green, and he was totally right, no one had anything of value to say.

Freddie didn't do anything. Pacman has fast hands and he won the fight. This whole thing about Roach being so important is getting ridiculous. Hearns is not great because of Stewart, so why is Pacman great because of Roach?

Roach plans it, Pac executes it. What a hell of a combination.

He predicted that Cotto would quit in the 10th round and even though he didnt quit and would have likely finished on his feet if the referee didnt stop it, after round 9 he looked in a condition that called for corner stoppage but they didnt out of pride.
