    ... and we each had one, unsuccessful, shot at the same world title (against two different champions, who today are both in the IBHOF).

    Who are we?


    Clue:
    One of us won Olympic gold... as did the two HOF-champs who beat us.

    Pete Rademacher, who won a Gold Medal, lost to Patterson, who won a Gold Medal and Zora Folley lost to Ali, who won a Gold Medal. Rademacher and Folley fought both as an Amateur and as a Pro..
