Already re-united with former Chute Box trainer Rafael Cordeiro, Wanderlei Silva dreams of bringing the old stable of fighters together again to gain back the 'positive energy'.

This would include UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, UFC light heavyweight champion “Shogun” Rua and former EliteXC middleweight champion Murilo Rua (among others) all tearing it up under the one roof like old times.

    Wanderlei:

    Quote:
“This guy is an idol now...the guy is amazing. Shogun is gnarly. Come back and bring back your energy for us. We need your energy here. Ninja (Murlio Rua). Come on Ninja, come train with us. I think that all of us with the same spirit and the same ideals… we have to unite again.”
    Cordeiro agrees:

    Quote:
“The secret is union, sincerity, loyalty and a strong spirit."

“Another person who I would like to help, and right now I’m making myself available to help, I can’t train right now, but even if it’s just psychological… Anderson (Silva)”, said the MMA legend.

“Anderson, we want to help you in anyway you need”.
Check out the pair discussing the reunion here (Wandy is also interested in Jose Aldo)...

Wanderlei Silva wants to reunite old Chute Boxe | MMA News

This is Bushido. Sure you guys remember the chap on the far right? :)

  2. Chute boxe reunite but then we need pride to reopen which will never happen.
The Commision has banned some of the best things like soccer kick and knee to a downed opponent.
If you could still do that Wanderlei would be a huge force but no in America they have some gay rules.
Chute boxe wont reunite. 1st of all Ed Soares wont let it happen because he ***.
And everyone gone there own ways. I see Shogun coming and training and at wand gym when he fight las vegas other than that chute box wont reunite.
them days are over when chute boxe used to run pride fc

knees to a downed opponent, i miss. so often guys are vulnerable to them but can't throw them and they are a show stopper. kicks are vicious but if they miss, you are out ofposition.

Guy on the right is Pele.

Wand Shogun and Ninja might train together, no way with Anderson.

Anderson left because of not liking the coaching and management, that hasn't changed.

I'd like to see Wanderlei and Werdum both training at UDL with the Rua's.

    haha he didnt!
I remember the headkick that Liddell took from Pele... when you see Shogun knock him out with ''that'' left hook, and you go back and you see liddell take that headkick damn.. I've never seen the chin of someone who has degraded as much as his

Years of wear and tear. Chuck's a trojan. Shame he spent most of his career in the UFC and not PRIDE. I think he would have been tested even more in PRIDE than he was in the UFC.

Have you seen the fight? It's fairly boring, with Pele landing that one big headkick, Chuck circling around, and then a lot of Chuck in Pele's guard, eventually winning.

His fights with (future Chute Boxe member) Macaco were classics though.
