Well he's been ducking Andre Ward and Bernard Hopkins for a while now. I think both guys said they'd go down to 160 lbs to fight Mayweather. What a little chicken ****, right?

I guess most people will say he's avoiding Khan for some ridiculous reason if he doesn't end up being FLoyd's opposition for his September fight. I think most people would give him a pass (and rightfully so) if he decides not to fight Gennady.

I'd be perfectly content with that. It would allow whoever wins that mini tournament to build up their name and become a credible option for Mayweather, especially if they can have those guys fight on the PBC broadcast.

There's nobody left for him to fight that's within reason.

However, he makes unreasonable claims about himself being "TBE" and thus there will continue to be a clamoring for him to fight the most threatening opponents; now namely GGG.

    Floyd has the longer reach.

Khan is an inch taller than Floyd AT MOST.

Power? Khan has decent power at best. And Floyd has dealt with plenty of power before, against fighters who have MUCH more power than Khan.

All I hear about Khan having a chance is his speed. What happens when Floyd times Khan?

Khan has size, that Floyd's never dealt with? Floyd started his career at 130. He's fought lots of bigger guys.

Height? Floyd's fought taller fighters before. Canelo, Oscar, and Corrales were taller than him.

Hmm. Speed and a high work rate to trouble Mayweather. Where have I heard that before? :huh

Read and actually try taking in my post. Mayweather has never fought anyone with the all the qualities Khan has all rolled into one.
Their reach is comparable, not like the 6 inch reach Mayweather had over Pacquiao.

He's fought stronger, harder hitting, faster, smarter, etc.......
but none with all those qualities combined.

At this point Khan is faster and hits harder.
Khan's chin is'nt the best, but Mayweather is'nt one to take the risks to crack it.

Been saying for years that the media clamoring for a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight was funny to me.
A well past it Marquez had allready schooled Pacquiao in fight 3, and again a year later KHTFO to the point of needing smelling salts to wake the Pacman up.

Over 5 million buys after getting exposed like that?
Only media hype can make it happen my friends! :deal

The real threat is Khan, Mayweather knows it which is why he chose to fight Maidana twice after the fan polls indicated they wanted him to fight Khan over Maidana.
I'd say right about now Khan is hungrier and in great position to beat Mayweather.

Mayweather dont fight Khan, its definitely a duck!!!

It's a lot different when they face Mayweather in the ring. He's not going to be a stationary target like ALexander or the corpse of Collazo.

And the counterpunching and timing aspect never gets spoken about for some reason. Floyd has the ability to nail him before Khan even gets a shot off, or he can counter him midway through one of Khan's flurries.

All I know is if Julio Diaz put Khan on his backside from a counterpunch at 140 lbs 3 fights ago, I have no doubt FLoyd could do the same exact thing.

I kind of hope the fight happens just so people can see what happens to Khan when he takes on someone with over 10 years more ring experience than him. It'll be a very nice lesson for him and his team.

Khan can't outbox Floyd in a pure boxing match.

He doesn't have the skills to do it.

Again, what happens when Floyd times Khan?

How about Zab Judah? He seemed like he had pretty much all those elements in his fighting style when he took on Mayweather in 2006? The only thing he didn't have an advantage in was the reach department, but that's a moot point since Khan also has a reach disadvantage vs Mayweather.

is it because Khan is taller?

    Khan eats Mayweathers shot

    It does nothing

Then Khan goes on to throw another flurry and win another round ha ha

Mayweather can't stop anyone at 147

But Khan would keep taking shots from Floyd, winning the rounds on landing the cleaner shots.

People go on about Khan's work rate. You can't win a fight on just work rate.
