    Kirkland (if he wins tonight)

    That's literally it.

-Bradley has the best claim of anyone.
-Khan hasn't done ANYTHING to merit a shot, let alone ducking accusations.
-Brook just became champ and tbh the demand for that one is less than for Khan.
-Thurman still hasn't beaten a legit top 10 welter.
    -Porter lost to Brook.
    -Paulie loves him too much.
-Maidana had his shots and the second one sucked.
    -Broner lost to Maidana.
    -Garcia is just ridiculously disappointing.
    -JMM has been done before.
-Alvarez has no justification for a rematch.
-Lara and Trout lost to Alvarez.
    -GGG is a middleweight.
    -Matthysse lost to Garcia.
-Manny was awful and is out with an injury.

The new list will be Khan, Golovkin, Lara and a two armed Pacquaio.

Whenever Mayweather beats somebody there's suddenly an opposing opinion to what many of them held to whilst claiming he'd never fight them. It's really weird. They can always win because there's always somebody else or the guys he fought were cherry picked, too old, too injured, too green, too rugged, too slow, too unfocused, too naive, too over-rated. But you can say that about anyone's opponents these days. There comes a time, and it was quite a while ago with Mayweather, where you must concede and give him credit for what he does.

Mayweather or Thurman may be able to do so, but lets see it happen instead of assuming it goes one way or the other.

As far as Mayweather is concerned, I'm not interested nor have I been interested in any of his fights recently because he keeps on fighting fights where he has all the physical advantages.

The Canelo fight because it was at 154 lbs was the only ppv I bought of his.
Thought Canelo had a chance if he pushed the fight and stayed up on the inside. Canelo however chose to fight at distance instead of taking it up close where he could use his strenghth advantage.

There are fighters out there who have physical advantages over Mayweather, he just wont fight them.

Who are some other fighters with physical advantages over Floyd?

What could Canelo have done against Floyd? How could he have gotten up close to Floyd? The Lara fight showed that he's TERRIBLE at cutting off the ring.

The fact is, Canelo wasn't good enough to use his strength advantage. He still isn't.

People forget Floyd started his career at 130. He's a natural lightweight at best.

I don't know what you call nothing but anytime your grandma gotta raise you cause your daddy is in jail and your mama is on drugs then that's nothing. I saw the house he was raised in and that wasn't the lap of luxury. He had to go and live with somebody that wasn't even his family because his family couldn't make it happen for him. Just because he was born in America doesn't mean that he's doing good because there are people starving to death right now in America. You trying to blow a smoke screen to cover up that BS you be writing. Like I said, you are a hater a first class knuckle head. You probably broke and bitter and hate the man for what he has achieved and every chance you get, you spew that vile hatred in this forum. GTFOH.

As you can see, the list is still quite long, proving once more that Mayweather is a cherrypicking coward. And if he wants any credit at all, all of the above must be fought at the highest weight possible, without any drug testing whatsoever, in Macau China, with a foreign commission/ref/judges selected by Bap Arom. Mayweather still not an ATG because he runs and doesn't slug it out like a 38 years old caveman :crybaby Pacquiao won 116-112 :crybaby:crybaby

I'm talking about taking on capable fighters his size or bigger.

Lets run through the last 6 years.......

Juan Manuel Marquez- A fighter well past his prime moving up two weight divisions and getting cheated at the scales.

Shane Mosley- SHOT! That simple, he looked terrible in most of his fights in the leadup to Mayweather.

Victor Oritz- B level mental midget who got sucker punched!

Miguel Cotto- A b level fighter at best, probably middle of the pack B level. Had allready gotten beat by the A level when Mayweather faced him.
Short with a physical height and reach disadvantage.

Robert Guerrero- B level and he's no welterweight.

Canelo Alvarez- Not quick or fast, but at least he was young with some physical advantages.
Mayweather I give credit for this victory. A worth opponent and a nice victory.

Marcos Maidana- Please, turns out that Maidana's crude style gave Mayweather some problems, but please, this slow fighter was cherry picked over Amir Khan and everyone with a brain knows it.

Pacquiao- Allready taken to school and KTFO by Marquez.
Mismatch! This fight should have happened before Pacquiao's 3rd fight with Marquez.

Only the Canelo fight imo was a fight where there was actual risk for Mayweather. The conclusion to the other fights were set in stone before they took place.

    Canelo was never a risk.

I can't believe people actually thought Canelo had a chance.
