Usyk wasn't able to get much offence off was he? even with supreme lateral movement closing that distance is still a tough job especially against big dangerous men.

I thought Usyk looked worse than the 1st bout especially during the end phase. I think AJ was a touch better...but just a touch, handled the late fight much better and made the early fight much closer.

What happens when he is up against not only big dangerous man but also a big dangerous sexy man? The one factor nobody has discussed.

Fury got 6 inches and 60 pounds on Usyk, when you really think about it’s insane.

class fighters like Usyk the only thing that will beat em is someone just having a massively insane size advantage.

in b4 the Cunningham shout outs.. Usyks a supreme boxer but he's not comfortable with the physicality of heavyweights and fury leans all over you.. his advantage is speed but that will start slowing naturally now... I noticed it yesterday he didn't quite look the same fighter as the first fight imo, nothing on his punches whatsoever .. Fury knows how to use his size & the ring unlike Joshua.. different animal.. he'll get mauled.. Fury is born for this ****, they manufactured AJ

Right. Plus, Fury demonstrated in sparring videos last week how he'd attack Usyk. Digging shots to Usyk's body ... which Joshua showed were really effective. Usyk didn't take it well downstairs. Also, Joshua had success throwing right uppercuts on Usyk to the point that mid-fight it was one of the only shots he was throwing, even when he was out of position.

Fury destroyed Whyte with a right uppercut.

I can't really see any way Usyk wins this. It will be a brutal beatdown. Full credit to Usyk for wanting the fight. But it may end as quickly as Tyson-Spinks.

I agree. A huge man like Fury digging body shots and throwing uppercuts is something Usyk won't be able to handle too well.

To be fair, Usyk didn't have a normal training camp. The war effected him and it showed a little last night.

Any fighter will lose effectiveness when they fight much bigger men. They're giving up height, reach and weight. They have to always be defensively responsible or they could get hurt from a single punch. Everything hurts more and those body shots hurt. I have no doubt that the body shots AJ landed in the first 6 rounds took the sting and sharpness away from Usyk in the last half of the fight.

Usyk was much sharper in the first fight because he didn't have endure so many body shots. AJ had the right game plan, but didn't have perfect execution.

Usyk looked much better than Fury in his last two fights. that we know for sure

+ Fury is not hungry anymore.

Usyk has a goal, Fury don't.

Usyk is fighting for a reason, Fury don't even want to fight like that.

This sentence does not make logical sense:
"I think AJ was a touch better...but just a touch, handled the late fight much better and made the early fight much closer."
By definition if Joshua handled large parts of their second fight "much" better, his performance was significantly better.

Also Usyk got off a lot of offense, he landed significantly more than Joshua, especially power punches.

Fury presents large challenges, literally & figuratively.
Joshua hits harder than him, although Fury landing many body shots & uppercuts are a concern.

But you have been obsessed with him forever, the "big sexy man" part does not seem to be a joke for you, & your objectivity is non-existent.
It could go either way in a fair contest.
But if Fury is allowed what
    This content is protected
be illegal-a lot of holding & mauling-then it is very likely he wins.

Although I am very impressed with Usyk's tenacity and fortitude in defeating Joshua, I do think that he needs more work to shore up his defense, he kept getting tagged with a right hand, a selective and effective weapon used against a southpaw. Perhaps he needs to defend his title more often, remember he is 35 years old. An older fighter needs to fight often to keep his skills sharp while a younger fighter does not. Perhaps a title defense against Deontay Wilder, or some tougher competition in case a title unification match can be made against WBC Champion Tyson Fury in the near future. Otherwise Usyk did show the courage of a champion, Joshua was a spoiled sport afterwards, I was waiting for him to announce, Stop The Steal, a phrase that it becoming used more often by those refusing to accept defeat.

I found Usyk impressive. He dug deep through some attrition (sustained mainly to the body in his case) and found gears to keep himself on a plane above an improved Joshua who, though perceptibly battling demons, had mentally and physically steeled himself to walk through Usyk's fire and had prepared himself to endure a pace.

I say "impressive", but not in a sense that I was surprised that he could do what he did.

Fury is another matter, of course.

I have started to go off fury big time, he annoys me know with his BS

Buy neither of those guys can beat him

Usyk will be competitive, but I expect fury by later rounds to start to break him down

Usyk may be a greater boxer, but he isn't the greater heavyweight

    Fury late stoppage

Fury didn't look at his best last time out either after his poor camp. Even though he dominated that ridiculous buffoon on his own soil and made him his female dog he was very sloppy in Baptism III.

Usyk looked good despite the fact the troubles in his homeland must've weighed heavy on his mind and taken their toll mentally. I don't think he was as sharp as he was in the first fight but that's probably for the best because had he been any sharper AJ's nervous breakdown would've been an even more biblical one.

It will be an intriguing match up.

Fury doesn't have the same legs he used to, but he will probably try to put it on Usyk given the size disparity so this shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Fury cutting the ring off and not getting peppered by Usyk will be a huge problem. Usyk, unlike Wilder and other fighters Fury has fought can fight backing up, and he has a good inside game. Fury could bully Wilder as Wilder is largely ineffective at anything other than long range. He will find Usyk harder to pin down. Fury performed well against Wilder when on the front foot (much less so in the 3rd fight which could suggest he is noticeably slipping), but Wilder flattered him as he can't fight backing up and has no inside game. Fury is great on the back foot, and whilst he is effective on the front foot, he is more awkward and makes more mistakes when coming forward. Usyk can exploit this.

How Usyk deals with Fury's sexiness is a whole different matter. No man born from his mother has ever been able to crack that puzzle.
