one thing the sport is missing at the moment is characters who sell themselfs without being disliked and of course can back it up. who have been the best boxing characters in the past 15-20 years?
Nas-great character. Love him or hate him he really made people tune in. Hatton-Cant deny his popularity. I dont personally like him but his "every man" image really endears him to casual fans. James Toney-always amused me. Tyson-probably the greatest character in any sport in the last 20 years.
yer Naz was awesome, from entrance to interviews and everybody had an oppinion of him i just laugh when here james toney "hey klitscho you a bum and your'e sister Vitalia" :rofl :rofl :rofl
Bhop- loud mouthed boxer given to sleight of hand tactics. Get's the job done in the ring by whatever means necessary. ODLH -the guy who wore the letterman jacket in high school, smiled at police officers, and helped old women across the street. FMJ- Brash, cocky kid, who everyone hates because he has all the gifts in the world and brags about it. Margarito -the character of a hitman. If you saw him walking down the street you'd definately give him space. Pavlik -working class hero. The guy at the Jiffy **** can relate to him. Many more. I think boxing is full of characters.
