Did ya'll catch that RJJ interview on ESNEWS (youtube) about a week ago where RJJ was asked about Hopkins Kovalev. There RJJ pretty much said in so many words (paraphrasing) if Hopkins manages to beat Kovalev he's gunna have to show all these young guys how to do it (vs Hopkins), basically hinting that if Hopkins wins, we could see a RJJ - Hopkins III. And before ya'll start acting crazy about that thought, lets not forget how bad Roy made Hopkins look in 2010. The problem though is I don't think Roy is able to make Light Heavyweight anymore, but that statement by Roy does make Hopkins - Kovalev more interesting in a sense. I think Dawson vs RJJ would actually be a good match for both guys at crusier, however Dawson's stock is at a low, though I see here he did stop someone named George Blades. It could be dangerous for Jones as a motivated, re-energized, stronger Dawson could be tough for anyone to beat. I thought in 2010 when Dawson was champ RJJ would be a good opponent for Dawson, and might have been able to beat Dawson where Hopkins couldn't. If RJJ did manage to beat Dawson though, he would be able to say he did something that Glen Johnson, Antonio Tarver, and Bernard Hopkins were not able to do, which is beat Dawson. (Dawson fought each of those guys twice and was undefeated vs them, amazing accomplishment, though Hopkins II was pretty boring)
