We need some Filipinos in the heavies..

On average, Asians are smaller than the rest of the world's population. As a result, you're going to see very few, if any, Filipinos in the higher weight classes.

 

i think any 245lb fighter can knock out a 112lb armenian.

 

Actually there are some Filipinos who are over 6 feet and 200 pounds, but they play in the local pro basketball league in the Philippines.

 

The same things applies for most of Latin America. They don't grow very big, either. I can't even name a Mexican heavyweight.

 

More Mexican fighters would be nice as well...250 lb Marquez brothers or 230 lb Vazquez...

 

The big balls genes are in on other places for this sport...

 

History Lesson 101--there has only been ONE Filipino heavyweight that has ever had a RECORDED fight. And he had 2 in 1930 & 1931, in fact only 3 have ever had a recorded fight over the middleweight limit.

 

I wonder what the lightest Samoan recorded in boxing is.
