Regardless, I think Fury will invent an injury and won't fight Usyk in February 2024. Then Usyk will have to fight Hrgovic and age some more. It's the ultimate mind game.

What If I told you Usyk is just as likely as Fury to get a legit injury in camp that cannot be ignored and delays the fight?

These guys are fighting once a year for the last number of years and have both had surgeries & both are getting old.

When you have a TUE exemption for steriod shots and need to ice your limbs after every session that's it you're on the slippery slope

Both Fury & Usyk are done with high level boxing after this bout. If we're really REALLY lucky we might get Fury AJ but unlikely.

That clip of AJ landing that bodyshot shows gamesmanship from Usyk and happens all the time. It's ok when it's the fighter you like doing it but not ok when it isn't. The referee was weak and obviously didn't see where it landed.

Whats imho is fake at usyk :

    - his polite gentleman style and the impression he is a honest pure sportsman
    - his show on low blow body shots due to his weakness there
    - his body language , orchestrated emotional reactions ( e.g fury knockdown vs ngannou with him as a spectator ) where in fact he knows a camera films him in this moment .
    -everything on his promoter

    Whats imho is true :

    -his impressive skills
-his determination and his heart to reach his goal
-his legacy as amateur as well cw pro

Getting hit to the body by murderous punching heavyweights hurts; if Fury fought better opposition who were willing to go the body then we would see the same "vulnerabilities" in Fury too.

Fury has strong belly. Strong like ox.

Only time I saw fury get hurt with a bodyshot was Wilder 1 2018 hit him with a stiff jab to the body and you could see him visibly react but he was very soft at that stage having lost so much weight.

The only elite punchers Fury has faced are Wilder and Klitschko, neither of which are particularly willing to go to the body. If Fury had two fights with Joshua and one with Dubois then I'm sure there would have been moments where Fury felt it to the body, as both Joshua and Dubois are heavy handed and more willing to throw body shots. I'm not saying Fury (or Usyk) are weak to the body; it's just that physiology and physics will always win out, and body shots by the hardest punching heavyweights will always hurt.

Wlad never threw a bodyshot in his life. Same with Ali I guess.

His body is his achilles heel
Fury is training like a Spartan and he will smash him late rounds

Struggling against Ngannou and seeing other recent events play will spark a fear in Fury. He performs his best with his back against the wall

The performance against Ngannou and the results in December will be a blessing in disguise. It means he won't be overconfident, so I expect him to turn up and maul a cruiserweight

Fury's time is short. Grasping straws. Nobody cares about this nonsense. Just like nobody cared about Fury's wierd glove in the Wilder fight. You just need to kneel and pray that the Fury from the Ngannou fight doesn't show up to fight Usyk. That's what you need to concern yourself with.
