we now only have 2 world champions. Is this our lowest amount in years?

    With Khan losing tonight, Haye losing to wlad and burns moving up we only have cleverley and Froch as world champions. When was the last time that we had so few world champions?

    Who looks at an individual sport in nationalistic terms. I can under stand for team sports but not individual sports.

    Yep, Cleverly is the furthest thing from a world champion that you could possibly be.

    He genuinely claims winning a world title on the back of a soft stoppage against a fill-in and one victory against a Euro-level fighter (not saying that Bellew won't push on here).

    Dan Rafael has got it spot on when it comes to belts, boxing organisations and the status of most 'paper' champs.

    British boxing is as strong as it has ever been in the last 100 years or so. Only TWO champions? Well look back to parts of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s...
