We should appreciate Cotto's courage and will

    Instead of people talking **** about this great person. We should be cheering for him, even in his loss.

    i was rooting for Margo all the way, and i wanted Cotto to lose, now, i am thankful for both fighters for stepping up and facing each other and giving us the fans (and the boxing world) and fight that is amazing and put a loud noise back in boxing.

    unlike other chu(a)mps, such as PBF, not willing to fight real competition and just go for the money.

    so stop with your stupid american style threads.

    overrated ****, exposed that.

    **** you.
    be thankful they gave a fight that even after the fight, we're still excited about.

    props to both.

    they both are great champs and great persons for the sports.

    I thought he fought a supremely brave fight, Margarito was like the Terminator, Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees all combined into one - He took everything and came back with 3,4 or 5 punches at a time.

    I thought Cotto was awesome.

    couldnt agree more, was more impressed with cotto then ever before, it was just margs night, bt it was a memorable night for boxing

    Great responses.

    The sports needs great fights like that.

    Both are Godly in my book and Cotto is still a great champ and top p4p fighter no doubt.

    Margo is Godly too.

    It felt bad watching Cotto lose like that. I was rooting for the upset and Margarito was the perfect size and age to beat him. Margarito may have a good five years in him. I never got knocked down but always got my ass beat sparring older kids. Great fight.

    Props to Cotto for having BALL'S to take this fight unlike other fighter's who dont and for fighting like a man and lost like one as well. :good

    This is the truth. It was hard seeing our champ get tore up, BUT it was one hell of a fight and a modern day boxing classic without a doubt. If this fight was promoted to the extent of some of these other fights it would have won so many new boxing fans, instead of turn them away like the other fights did.

    ...............It's so like the General Forum to trash the loser of a fight; it's like death and taxes.

    Cotto fought bravely and well; Margarito simply would not be denied.

    Had Margo lost, people would have called him overrated and a bum with no defense. It never fails. They know nothing, but it never stops them from chirping about everything.
