Horrible article! A few things need to be pointed out:

1. If I'm not mistaken the author tries to deflect racial profiling but goes on to say we should be more suspicious of Floyd since he's a black athlete who's competed in the Olympics. WTF?! I sure would like for Al Sharpton to read this article.

2. Of course we should be suspicious of Floyd. By going through the tests himself he is telling us he is a suspect! Each and every boxer who has been fighting under the outdated drug testing system is a suspect. It's insane how there are still a lot of people who forget or disregard the fact that it is not just Pac who would be subject to OSDT if the fight were to materialize. Both parties would through the same procedure.

3. Being an Asian athlete does not make you any more or less of a suspect. I'm Asian-American and I know a **** ton of immoral Asians. I've read somewhere that doped up Asians have a genetic structure that allows them to pass a drug test easier than any other ethnic group. If this is true then the writer's confidence in knowing that Asian athletes are the cleanest should be shot to hell. About 15 Asian athletes (from China and India) were reportedly caught doping during the 08 Olympics. Thailand is known for a wide distribution of anabolic steroids. In Bangkok or Pattaya anyone can get them as easy as cough medicine. Pacquiao has fought in Thailand numerous times earlier in his career yet claims he has never heard of steroids. Go figure.

All this melodrama about how we should baby Manny Pacquiao is getting old. Pac is a grown man. Let him fight his own battle. If he's clean, take the tests and make an attempt to kick Floyd's ass in the ring. Settle it the old fashioned way.

I would just like for everyone to sit and reflect- that ALL of this began with a rumour. This goes to show how insiduous and destructive a rumour can be. All it takes is a whisper- an look how it snowballs over time- accusing a work colleague of being gay or a neighbour of being a molestor could be destructive to their lives, whether something is true or not holds no relevance here- as we dont know- nobody knows but the people involved- but the power of the media , of people and of the mob mentality- to latch onto an idea and pus it further is just virus like.

Now Arum/Team Pacquiao have decided to accept the same offer that it said wouldn't work before, and there's no understanding for why it's good now but wasn't before.

I keep a lot of notes and emails, and in reviewing a few, I found an odd trend that somehow reversed itself, which displays exactly why I have questions. Pacquiao supporters now say on record that "the fight isn't happening because Mayweather is afraid to face Pacquiao". But, reviewing emails from the time frame when Mayweather was set to return to the sport, the common thread was that Mayweather was "only coming back for the money to face two smaller men, (Marquez and then Pacquiao), rather than facing someone bigger or at least his size". Ironically, Floyd has taken that exact challenge against the bigger man that most said he wouldn't face at that time, (Mosley), and here we are still struggling to put together a fight with him and the man he was supposedly "too big for", and now, supposedly "too afraid to face". None of it adds up and it's very troubling. Pacquiao said before that giving blood too close to a fight would make him weak, then he said "only if the commission tells him to", now he's saying saying he would do it without the commission if it's a "small amount".....one that he will personally have to decide.

This is why my original take on the whole blood thing was filled with questions. If you can't do something, doesn't matter who tells you to do it, YOU CAN'T DO IT! If I ask you to walk across a busy intersection and you say "no, only if my boss tells me because I have more affinity to him"......What difference does it matter if I tell you or your boss tells you, considering that either way it will result in you being struck by a car? Doesn't matter who gives the instructions.....if having to give blood at 14days will make you too weak to compete effectively, that's the end result, regardless of who originates it. So, that's where my issues come in at. I love and respect both men, but the delays seem to be exclusively from one angle. We know Pacquiao fears no man, but unlike those who blame one side, I will blame both for this if it doesn't go down. (Which it seems it won't)!

I'm sorry but them numbers are wrong.

Take India for example, it only has 5 people listed. But when you click on the link [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_athletes_who_tested_positive_for_banned_substances[/ame] you can see there is alot more than 5 Indian atheltes that have tested positive for banned substances. I counted 12 by just scanning through them
