We should be more suspicious of Floyd Jr. than Manny Pacquiao.

You think they test daily for it.

    Amazing.

I think all ABC title holders and mandatory challngers, be it world championships or regional belts, should be obliged to submit to year round random drug testing as long as they hold the title or are in the mandatory position, but with a cutoff date. I just think that throwing a fighter out of his comfort zone within a week of the fight is not a good nor a necessary thing.

USADA can do 24/7/365 testing by tapping to the athletes' toilet. :rofl

Sure top athletes should be available 24/7/365 for testing. ;)

24/7/365 means they can be subject to testing at anytime.

Not that they will be tested everyday all year long.

    Wow. Moron.

Philla said, champions, conte said top 10 fighters.

Fighters clearly, or promoters should pay.

Or the sanctioning parties, WBC, WBA, IBF

He actually believes that? You can't be serious.

Here is how it would work out under a 365 schedule, the boxer would have to report to the USADA where they are living and when and where they go on vacation and trips. This means the USADA any time during there life come by and ask for a sample.

If you're going to use those testing kits you get on-line or have Billie Bob's Lab do it, 24/7/365 might work.

If you're going to do a thorough 20k type of test, I don't think it will work.

Is there a USADA office or lab in Mt. Everest? Or in Timbukthu? Is USADA even allowed in Russia (USSR)? :D

How about if the boxer claimed he's retired and suddenly comes back and fight? :D

    I'm just replying to this:

It is highly unlikely that either one of them is on any form of PEDs.

(Mayweather has used illegal xylocaine, but under the circumstances, I would put little or no stock in that.)

I believe that Floyd is, for whatever reason, spooked by Pac.

He wasn't supposed to beat Oscar. And regardless of Oscar's decline, he should have been expected to prevail. Not only did he lose, he lost decisively.

    Then Hatton.

KO'd much more spectacularly by Pac than Floyd, and at his best weight.

And Floyd senior was training him. This caused serious butthurt to the older Floyd.

After he destroyed Cotto, Senoir stated, without a shred of evidence, that Pac MUST be on something. His evidence: Nobody is that good !

So, despite having all the edges in the physical aspects of the game, Floyd is spooked.

On paper, he knows he is better, but the margin is too close for comfort. He doesn't really want this fight.

And so he suddenly decides, in the waning years of his career, to clean up a problem that he apparently never noticed or cared about at any earlier point in his career.

And this despite his stating that he could destroy Pac whether or not the man was on roids.

Rather than fight PAc, he is willing to walk away from a career high payday, and a fight he needs to cement his legacy.

    That's my first analysis.

My second less likely (but possible) outlook is that both guys know this fight will take place eventually. Neither on of them is sure who will prevail, but they both know that the loser will lose more than the fight. He will cease to be as marketable post-loss.

So both are getting in a few more big $$$ bouts before that, both knowing that the longer the delay, the greater will be their purses when they eventually do meet.

At any rate, I think this bout will happen.

I don't know which will prevail. I made a note to self not to pick against Pac after picking Oscar, Ricky and Miguel to end his win streak.

But Myweather is a whole differnt ballgame.

So I'm not going to think much about the actual fight until it's signed and ironclad.

Which will, I hope, be soon.

chinese gymnasts and filipino little league baseball.

people cheat everywhere its just that american athletes are more susceptible to cheating due to ease of access.

For every supposed pac cheat, there's barry bonds, marion jones, roy jones jr, shane mosley and every other high profile athlete.

to quote floyd, 'numbers don't lie'.
