We should create our own sanctioning body here on ESB

    Could u imagine? We could vote a committee of posters who we feel are most qualified to construct rankings, we can have a triumvirate of elected officials instead of just 1, and we can even have our own belt.

    Wouldn't that be something? I know it's just fantasy but the truth is that we are the real pulse of the sport.

    Well, I say it jokingly but think about it. There are people who like certain weight classes more than others. Let these people do the rankings for them. I, for example like Cruiser and heavy and feel quite confident in my ability to put together a top-15 list for each. There are people out there who live and breathe straweight and minimumweight.

    Straweight and minimum are the same thing. :D

    Don't know anyone with a real knowledge of the lower divisions, I wonder why it is nobody seems to take an interest?

    It's the same in classic, people are less interested in the bantams and the flys...lower divisions promise little where KO's are concerned, compared to the bigger guys. I think that might be a part of the problem.

    How about an ESB panel of three judges to conclude the winners of close fights? ESB posters have to respect the judges' decisions. The judges' are elected of course. They can begin by going back and "fixing" some scores when not watching and judging latest fights.

    Yeah. We could do rankings. Maybe elect some posters to create them or vote in polls. Admin could create a page where they are posted.

    Yes, the ESB Title, we could have a ranking commission, and have sanctioning fees, and create a "Superbelt" and then, like "The ESB International Title" "The ESB Intercontinental Title" or the ESB Fedelatin Title. If an ESB Champion didnt defend his title within 6 months against the number one contender, we would strip his ass, and give a title shot to the two contenders who paid the highest sanctioning fees.

    You really don't remember? The problem is this - people don't have time. It's true. It's a HUGE task, it's a very serious task, and even the sort of top posters you are thinking about couldn't keep up with it as regards every single division.

    We dont need money. All we need is a belt, that you can buy off EBAY. Like a WWE title belt, and we will just spraypaint "ESB" over it, like what the NWO did back in the day.

    And we could start "ESB Magazine, the New Bible of Boxing, and create an "ESB Magazine Belt" that is supposeldy the true belt.
