I am a huge Mosley fan but after watching the fight tonight he fought even with Cotto and lost some exchanges he would have gotten the better of in his prime. Cotto's timing was better than Mosley's, for a lot of the middle rounds Cotto was getting off the better, more effective punches even though the rounds were close. Late in the fight Shane was starting to take over though and probally took 3 of the last 4 rounds he was more agressive, landed some great body shots, especially in the 11th where he doubled up on left hooks that leaned Cotto into the ropes. I scored the fight a draw or possibly 7-5 Cotto, but Shane while still world class is not the fighter he was 5-7 years ago and he would NOT beat Mayweather at this point in his carrer. Either Mosley should give it one more go at Cotto who really impressed me tonight with his ability to box and use his jab or retire and get ready to be inducted into the HOF where he belongs.
Don't insult a fighter of Mosley's caliber like that. He is at the top, not trying to get there like Margo. :good
