You could see this coming when GBP said they wanted 3 Alvarez ppvs this year.

You have Alvarez, Mayweather, and Pac = 7 ppvs. Martinez-Cotto will be one and then who knows about guys like Chavez, JMM, and even Broner by the end of the year. We could get 10 ppvs or so this year which is way too many.

Of the 4 already lined up I think Mayweather-Khan and Martinez-Cotto are going to be way too one-sided to be ppv main events. Even with strong undercards I doubt they are worth getting.

I think Pac-Bradley is a good fight and Arum is talking a good game about a solid undercard but Arum talks a lot so who knows how strong of a card that will be.

I really like the Alvarez-Angulo fight but I don't think its ppv worthy. The undercard looks good, not great, but its a pretty strong card overall and the best so far. In fairness its also the first one up and the only one with an actual undercard announced in full.

Broner won't be PPV because he will loose the rematch with Maidana, secondly i seriously doubt Chavez Jr will be ppv who will Bob put him in with to make a ppv viable. I mean Froch would tank on ppv, Ward again won't do many buys. Chavez Jr isn't a ppv fighter. I reckon sadly their will be 9 ppv's this year 3 Canelo 2 Pac, 2 Floyd, Cotto Martinez and i think JMM will be a ppv.
