We will never see a future fighter surpass Pacquiao's greatness

With the way things are today. It's impossible for somebody to become greater than the Pac. Fighters are rarely active like they used to be. Fighters often duck the other best fighters. Fighters often wait to fight other greats until they fade. Boxing is becoming less popular (especially in America) and athletes are going to other sports.

    -Flyweight World Champion
    -Super Bantamweight World Champion
    -Featherweight World Champion
    -Super Featherweight World Champion
    -Lightweight World Champion
    -Super Lightweight World Champion
    -Welterweight World Champion
    -Super Welterweight World Champion

Micro-Pac won titles spanning 10 weight classes. Even walking through a busted eardrum to savagely destroy Miguel Cotto.

    Pac's notable victories.

    -KO Sasakul
    -KO Ledwaba
    -KO Barrera
    -KO Morales
    -UD Marquez
    -KO Hatton
    -KO Cotto
    -UD Margarito

Even if a fighter wanted to be great and dared to be great we'll never see greatness like that ever again. Like for instance Lomachenko could become a pure legend like Pacquiao, but he won't. Rigo has already ducked him. Walters has already ducked him. Crawford is too big. There's a lack of p4p talent at 126-135 right now. Things have changed.

for sure you can't have harry greb's resume in the modern environment. but pacquiao is active and did build his resume in the modern era so i don't get the thread.

It won't be done again though. The ducking, the price outs, the waiting game, the inactivity will only get worse.

Yea so what...we will never see somebody surpass what Floyd did. Get caught doing illegal IV at home 14X over the limit and still get appraised by the testing agency and boxing commission.

BJ Penn barely got a drip in and he was toasted. Try duplicating what Floyd did, doing 14X over the limit and still get appraised by the drug agency and commission who job is to catch drug cheat. Now ladies and gentlemen that will never be duplicated forever.
