Ive been training five months and know how to fight pretty well. I know how to throw combonations with good power but I feel that my right hand is weak as far as my straight right hand. all my other punches are really strong including my left hook. for some reason my straight right feels weak. What can i do to get more power out of it. any foot work or movements that will help. any training technique that can help? :-(

Lock up your joints before impact, get plenty of rotation and bite your mouth guard hard.

i had the same problem cuz im left handed. I devoted a few rounds a day to just the right hand and figured mine out over time. make sure you're getting good extension and powering through with your legs and not just arm punching. really sit into it well and power should come eventually.

Explode the right side of your body forward using your left side as a hinge, really make sure the twist of both the shoulders and hips is powerful and fast. Transfer weight from back foot the front.

You do all that and it will improve.

A lot of things are learned in boxing by observation. Watch the other guys in the gym and compare them to what you see in the videos of the top pros. Some men are hard punchers others are feather fists. Pay close attention to their technique and you will see the difference.

You gotta twist at the hips and rotate on the ball of your backfoot. Also make sure you fully extend and get your shoulder behind the punch.
