Not guys who would flop down on purpose when they started to take heavy shots... But guys that legitmately could not take power punches.

Maybe someone who was floored by light jabs multiple times or something.

    Thoughts?

Well you'd really have to know boxing well enough to dig into the thousands of tomato cans fighting to get an accurate answer.

Elite fighters or at the very least better known fighters wouldnt/shouldnt fit in this category.

I'm not looking for a single definitive answer. Just fighters posters know with exceedingly weak chins.

Lets not strain ourselves mentally. ;)

Moorer... was completely out by what looked like a mediocre punch from Foreman. Also noticed that Foreman didn't knock out anyone else of note during his comeback, not even the weak chinned Morrison. Moorer was also out cold after 2 or 3 punches from Tua.

Hide also had a pretty weak jaw. It looked like rigor mortis set in seconds after a jab from Vitali Klitschko hit him. That lovely description i copied from The Kurgan or Erratic Behaviour, i forgot. But it's true.

Agree on Hide, his chin was truly pathetic. Remember the Bowe fight:dead

Also, for an ATG, Hearns was v. dodgy, especially from medium shots to the temple - he just seemed to cave in...

Moorer forsure..though getting koed by tua aint anything to be ashamed about..

People say tommy morrison had weak chin but looking at his fights lately and i came to the conclusion his chin was indeed solid..his defence was his weakpoint which lead to him copping some huge shots. In most cases he copped just asmuch punishment as his opponents even in winning bouts.

i think moorer was better than most think he was knocked out by foreman, tua and holyfield...i see no problem with that

foreman landed a right hand down a shoutpaw stance on the chin...twice
tua threw a 4 hit combo onto his temple and jaw and even in that he was still awake he just couldnt get up.

well this is the point so many elite boxers are called weak chinned but there must be so many journeyman and non achievers who have horrible chins but only the best rise to the top.

poeple like rahman can take some good shots maskaev and as we have said moorer can take a hard shot but they just dont stay stable

anyways other fighters outside the heavies i would put
ruby goldstien-great boxer puncher just could not take a punch ...at all he once got hadbutt in sparring and had to take the day off.

diego corrales- i know im going to get alot of hate becuase of this but he didnt have a set of whiskers to be credited for. his power and all action style along with his chin made him they best fighter to watch

garry deleney - a british cruiserwieght with a truely awful chin he would move foreward come to fight then thwack would end up on the seat of his pants he would get up and just run away...a real shame becuase he could of been a great british hopeful..knocked down by macca 7 times!!!it says on boxrec
