Over the last ten years each division must have had a weak world champion who some how won a major world title, either thru a vacant title fight or having 1 performance of a life time. can you name a few of them 1) Light Welter Weight - Gavin Reese
I went to School with Gavin, how the hell he got a shot I'll never know, everyone here was amazed, he's a good guy tho. Weakest Champ has to be that 7ft Fraud Valuev, you'll never stop him, but he's ****.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WBO_world_title_holders Mostly all the british ones on here and a good lot of others
i watched kotv classic last night and carlos maussa was awful. lol the guy said he shows signs of naz in the ring with his chin in the air, that guy should get sacked for just saying that. vivian harris blew out and thats how he picked the wba belt. he was dubbed by someone i can't quite remember who ''the worst world champion in recent history'' i have to agree he fought like a drunk against hatton but somehow stayed in there to the 9th by running around the ring and throwing any puch he could to keep hatton off him.
Ain't no way Valuev is the worst, even at heavyweight. At heavyweight, I'll say that Sultan Ibragimov is probably the worst to grab a belt.
Carlos Maussa is a good choice...but I never thought he was even that bad! Terrible punching style? Sure. But he had a chin of stone, at least.
nicky cook has skills, he isnt a bad world champ, montell griffin was pritty solid he beat toney twice
