It was a pretty decent show over all. I like Frank Mir as a commentator more and more each time I hear him, despite the fact he constantly jumps the gun. "It's over!" "Oh that choke is deep! It's over" "Oh, he's been knocked out!" Almost every time he says it, it's not true. But, I still think he's good at analyzing the ground game.
Hell of a grappling display by the bout right before the main event. I was immensely impressed by the skill of both.
It was a great match, but it felt like Beebe was trying to prove a point by submitting Yahya, which he couldn't quite do, where if he just gave up on going for the sub and focused on caving in his skull he could have got him out of there.
Agreed. He could have done quite a bit more GNP. Yahya didn't look bad on his feet tho. He landed some nice leg kicks.
Crunklinton seemed pretty retarted in his gameplan for Razor Rob I think Mir had to hold back on calling him a moron when the other announcer said hes got to deserve alot of credit and Franks like ahh yeah im not sure ud call that you know whatever or something like that.
Rani blew his wad in that frist round. If he had some better conditioning and slowed down a bit he'd be a freak. Incredible transitions from sub to sub.
Yes, I was highly impressed by his BJJ skills, some of the best I've seen utilised in an MMA match. I hope the guy works on his conditioning, I feel he would have submitted a lot of guys in that first who were not on Bebe's level of wrestling.
Yes, I was thinking the same thing during the bout, why not just pound the guy out? Still, both guys are great grapplers, it was definitley memorable.
