I totally agree about Frank Mir. The guy is right on about 95% of the time (except when he gets a little too excited, like you said, but it's kind of a likeable part of his personality... he's terrible at the in-ring interviews, though, good thing they got the new guy to take care of that). I'd certainly rather watch a couple good prospects go at it in a lower weight class in the WEC than, say, that fight between Tim Silvia and Brandon Vera a few months back at HW in the UFC.
Torres has a wiiiiiiide skill set, that's for sure. He rivals Faber in the ability-to-do-everything-very-well category. Very good improvisation as well, similar to Faber.
I would love to see a gif of when Pulver was down being pounding and almost out then stood to his feet. True warrior.
[yt]2WAfJUlkQ_k[/yt] [yt]dt0pKrq2uCo[/yt] Fight of the year? I say so. Love Torres, represent Indiana! (barely) He is sort of a reverse Anderson Silva. Anderson's striking is so scary it makes people want to go to the ground with him, so he developed an absolutely phenomenal ground game, so he doesn't mind being taken down, which helps his striking even more Torres has a mind blowing ground game, so people want to stand with him, so he developed an incredible striking game, forcing people to take him to the ground sometimes.
