I'd take allot of the (he wore weights in his pockets, as BS for the most part). But Dempsey, Danny Williams have all supposedly done the same and Roy Jones weighed in with clothes
Gatti and DLH didnt make weight for the Coley/Gamache card. I saw video footage at the old website HouseofBoxing.com of the weigh in when it happened and DLH especially didnt. He stepped on the scale and Coley starts shouting "he didnt make it, he didnt makie it" and he was quickly hushed up and sent away. Gatti literally stepped on the scale and stepped off before the bar had settled. Another one nobody ever talks about (and most dont know) is Mayweather/Corrales. Corrales was overweight but Mayweather wanted to go ahead with the fight as a title fight because of the payday so he accepted money from the Corrales camp to go on.
Billy Conn. Despite him trying like hell to make HW for Louis, the man weighed more around 168, than what the scales stated.
Yeah. The scales said he weighed 174 [ironic he still got the title fight considering HW back then was 175 and up], but Conn years later revealed that he weighed 168-169 for Louis the first time they fought, and he still worked like **** to get that high in weight.
