Weigh in: Golota 256 - Adamek 214

Excellent post & I'm feeling the same way. Hate to See Golota leave the sport, but its time. And a win here will give him a little something to hold his head high about. He doesn't want to lose to the smaller Brother Pole.

Do you believe all the hype about Golota being seriously pissed off about the things that were said in the past by TA??? Maybe this will finally being out the animal in him?

 

Unless he can do it in the next 24 hours, he's done for.

I see this fight being fairly sloppy as both guys are soft. Adamek will either win on points or Golota by KO. Cant really call it though. This is a very interesting match up, hard to call.

 

Adamek told the media that Golota had sex with hookers. Golota being married and having kids really took offence to this. I believe this will have a great effect on Golota in a positive way, meaning he will try to really hurt Adamek. Also I think Golota will finally fight relaxed in a big fight. He has reallly nothing to lose, he is old inactive, has already lost by KO1 and quit in some fights.

 

My son just wrote with this:

Adamek by UD 90%

Golota by KO 10%

So I'll go with TA by UD 60% & AG by KO 40%

I don't think the "softness" will necessarily mean a sloppy. Sloppy only when the blood has to be cleaned up...

 

Golota looks disgusting

 

Golota's chin is an enigma to me. He's been in with some tough guys and didn't fold but it looks like if he's in with a serious puncher he goes down in the first three. Adamek is not a serious puncher so I don't see it ending early (unless Golota really IS cashing out) but I still can't rule out a KO late for Adamek or a cuts stoppage.

If Brewster wasn't shot and Adamek survives this fight a match-up between them would be fun.

 

Adamek being a religious man should NOT have said **** like that...true or not. This is the key factor driving Golota. OMG, I would not want him angry at me!!!!!

And I think your right. He may have some pre fight nerves & they will be gone after round 1. After that, he will start to go to work on Adamek & will WILL see the animal come out of Golota.

I wonder if Adameks wife Dorrota will be at ringside??? She's gonna flip!!!

My original pick was 60-40 Golota. But I think I'm now going with 60-40 Adamek by UD.

I said the fight could get sloppy because neither man looks like they are in the greatest shape and both will begin to tire midway at least. Adamek could end up tiring more if Golota leans on him and smothers that little weasel. :yep

 

If Adamek wins this fight he deserves a crack at someone top 10 or even for the title. Haye gets a title fight after defeating Barret who is below Golota.

 

Golota's chin may have been much better in his earlier days. All those heavy shots he took from Bowe in both battles.:shock:

But these days he seems to get rattled early on. But I think it has more to do with being nervous than his chin. I dont think Adamek will be able to hurt AG.

Nah, most believe Adamek will smoke him and fast.

Sure, there are some Golota fans but generally people think Adamek will beat him easily.
