No Peter is FAT, a boxer doesn't have to be ripped with a 6 pack, but come on 6 ft 254 in HW title fight, thats a joke, 240 would be high but respectable, 254 just tells me he doesn't train to go any rds, Vitaly does breath hard after the early rds but Peter will be breathing harder IMO.

Yeah, Williams is brave and all but it's just hard to respect someone like that. He came in pregnant in that fight and some other fights he comes in good shape. He got a beating he deserved that night.

Really doesn't look fat to me, if he looks like Kirk Johnson then sure he's fat but he's not even close to that. He looks in good shape to me, he's just built that way, short and wide for a heavyweight.

Peter has a pretty big girth... I agree that it is tighter than usual for him, but fat is still present..... 253 1/2 pounds will prove powerful but sluggish for Peter....... Klitschko looks lean and mean, and ready to rumble.... In my book, Sammy Peter has about THREE to FOUR good rds in which to land a meaningful bomb; after that, he's done.... Klitschko has the better stamina amongst the two....

That's how he usually weighs, usually in the 240s with the max being 250.

Disagree with the stamina. When Vitali is pressured he gets tired, just watch his fight with Lewis, Williams and Sanders. When he's fighting a guy that will keep coming forward and keep him active he gets tired and it's clear by how he breathes heavily and his punches get slower yet still heavy. Peter went the distance more and against Toney showed a lot of activity in doing so, same against Wladimir even though he was taking a lot of serious punches.

After 4 years off with careet threatening knee and back injuries I expect his stamina to be worse, especially against a pressure fight IF AND ONLY IF Peter proves he can handle his power early.

To me, they both seem fit. "Fat" Peter carries a lot of muscle on a naturally thicker frame. Surprisingly, Peter is actually the bigger guy in this fight.

This will be a good fight.

SCAR - I do realize that V.K. has seemed winded and all, but he keeps coming, and has 98% of the time managed to get the job done.... I have never seen V.K. gasping like his younger brother Wlad has in the past..... And, Sammy Peter looked real gased against Wlad Klit in '05 & against Toney in 2006.... Peace..

Disagree Vitaly was gassed against Byrd, and he was very tired in his fights with Williams and Sanders even though he was dominating.

We NEED to remember that KLIT was doin' MOST of the hard work in those fights, too..... That accounts for something doesn't it?

Yeah but he shouldn't be tired after 4 rds.

Peter sort of has fat man abs. You can see his abdominal muscles but he still has a protruding gut of sorts.

Vitali looks like a greek statue, nothing new there.
