Lets get this straight. Lewis, Sanders, Johnson, and Williams are better fighters than Peter. Also you are forgetting that Lewis. Sanders, Johnson, and Williams were more gased than Vit in those fights. also i scored the first Toney Peter fighty for Toney.

Sometimes these big guys just look and seem tired, but they actually aren't...... A guy who is dead tired after FOUR rds is NOT gonna make all 12...... George Foreman in Zaire was about as tired as a dude can get... Guess what? Foreman didn't make it for all 15 rds..... Yes, an ALI combo in rd 8 had something to do with it, as well....

This wasn't a comparison of who's better on that list, that's another discussion and I think it's silly to rate Williams and Johnson above Peter, I wouldn't even rate Sanders above Peter. Sanders is explosive and fast early but once he runs out of gas his power is no longer there because his power mostly relies on how fast he catches his opponents without them seeing the punches coming. Once the fighters last long he doesn't get a KO, either early, decision or get KO'd.

This is about Vitali's stamina and in the fights I mentioned(Johnson fight not one of them) he tends to get tired and breath heavily when he's forced to stay active. I'm a Vitali fan who has followed him for a long time and know for sure that his stamina isn't great, especially when he's dealing with someone aggressive. Really doubt it will be any better after 4 years of inactivity with serious injuries. If Vitali wants to end it his best chance is early, will be tough for him if it goes the distance. It's not totally out of the question for it to end late in favor of Vitali though, this is just a prediction on my part based on what I know of a fighter I support, same goes to Peter as I'm a fan of him as well.

I gave the first fight to Peter based on activity, he was landing the bigger harder punches and was more active, the first fight was close but I thought Peter deserved it more.

I thought Toney beat Peter in '06... But I was pissed at BOTH guys for showing up fat and heavy.... Come the rematch, I was impressed with Peter, and yet, still pissed at Toney....

I hope Vitali tears him up. Peter is very talented but has done nothing with it so I don't respect that.

Vitali's stamina will always be questionable but I've seen few people fight tired as well as he does. :) He is tired from pretty much the second round on wards.

That's what I've been saying too, stamina WILL be an issue here if Vitali doesn't take Peter out early.

I that case he might be in trouble... Vitali usually has to wear his opponents down and has always relied on good stamina and reflexes; whether he still can tonight is a big question mark...

He was able to overwhelm Johnson early of course, but that was more a matter of completely penetrating Johnson's defence and outclassing him, rather than landing a hard shot. Peter is a very physically imposing figure who has rarely ever been in trouble. Even when he was down twice during one round against McCline, he kept firing back.

The knockdowns in the McCline fight can prove to be a good thing rather than a horrible one, he proved he can be badly burt but also come back from it. If Vitali finished him off better than McCline then he gets an early stoppage, if it goes longer the advantage goes to Peter. Vitali already showed stamina issues back when he was active and pressured to throw a lot, if Peter can handle those shots then he has it going his way depending how well he takes advantage of it.

I disagree. Peter was hurt and ready to go down again. He did admirably but was pretty f**ked up.
McCline just lost it all of a sudden and let Pete off the hook.
Incidentally, McCline previously had patella surgery on his knee and it held up pretty well. I hope Vit's knee holds up tonite so nothing taints this fight.

Jameel McCline may indeed lack killer instinct, but he does have some tools for a huge dude, as well as decent speed........ McCline is NOT a ***** in the ring; he's simply "B" rated..... Still, when a dude like McCline lands upside your head with clean shots, you are SUPPOSE to hit the deck.... I like McCline.... NO! He'll never be champion, but that DOESN'T mean that he sucks as a fighter...... Peace....

McCline is slated to fight Mike Mollo pretty soon..... That's a "Toss-Up" right there...... I'll pick McCline.... If McCline loses, he will be done as a fighter...
