Im not trying to big tyme myself here or anything- but as someone who boxes against amaters and semi-pro fighters in sparring daily- the size difference- although notable- itsn t that significant from the pictures as everyone is saying. I fight taller, shorter guys all the time- and the difference in power isnt a thing at all- really. The main thing i consider when i size up my opponent isn't their height - (ok it does come into play- especially subcionsciously at a confidence level)- but more a THICKNESS consideration. Fighting guys who are the same height- its the thick dudes u worry about-

theyre denser and more compact- and hence more powerful . Looking at the sizes of the two fighters- sure oscars much much taller- but hey- mike tyson was the shorter man in almost all his fights. what i take note of is the body proportions of the two guys- and in that regard- oscars frame is much much broader- and more solid- in terms of bone and strucutre- but manny has 'applied' weight- his size and build come from musculature built up. a guy that s 147 visually primarily built up of bone mass is much more solid than a guy of 147 visually primarily built up of muscle mass.

other things im seeing are that the arms size of the two guys isnt that disparate- in face manny has similar sized biceps to oscar.

what im just trying to say is- when u guys size up a guy when ur bout to punch up with someone in a fight- what determines whether ur going to fight or not is rarely the height of the guy- its normally- is this guy more solid than i am?

im sure mannys thihnking that exact thing- sure oscars taller than me- but **** - i can take this guy. so although everyone is calling this fight a farce- lets remember - theyre 2 guys- fighting at the agreed weight of 147- thems the rules- who fights better at that weight- they both made it. manny knows what he s getting into- and he ll do ok im sure.

I feel sorry for all you f**ks who are buying into this hype. Look at the size difference. DLH is going to carry PacMan to make it seem as if this is a competitive fight and all you suckers will swallow hook, line, and sinker. I'm Mexican, I'm rooting for PacMan, and I wish PacMan would break DLH's greedy, golden nose, but it is not going to happen. Unfortunately it will be DLH by KO in maybe the 10th. Then he will run around the ring acting as if he just defeated a prime Mike Tyson. He'll also say how he avenged all the Mexican's defeats by beating PacMan. P.S. I just love how DLH is barefoot and PacMan is wearing 1" tennis shoes to make him appear taller. Nice photo work, DLH, except you forgot to crop the pic at the knees.
