I remember when everyone said Floyd looked scared at the weigh in against Hatton and that Hatton got into Floyd's head. I also remember every..weigh in post-Erik Morales where Pac looked "weight drained and sick" and became a potential problem for him in those fights.

Weigh ins are nothing more than meat market gaga.

In most of the cases you are right, but I guess the outcome of this fight, if it lasts longer than 6, will heavily depend on the psychological factor especially for Pavlik.

And as we can see from the pictures its more like a wolf and a sheep lol

you want to see a wolf and a sheep, watch the judah vs baldomir weigh in... a complete joke with baldomir not looking much at judah, small little smiles here and there and judah (when he was considered 'it') was looking mean and blah blah...

    weigh ins dont mean JACK

Yep, weighins are simply entertainment. Some fighters are better entertainers than they are fighters. Some people believe more in themselves, and have more confidence than they should have. Others have less confidence, but should have more.
Anybody can look intimidating if they know how to do it, but no matter what they look like....They hurt, they bleed, they fear, they're HUMAN!!!
Some people are just better at hiding it than others. You can have the physichal look, the eyes, you can look like a beast on the heavy bag, look like RJJ on some boxing mits, and still yet...It does not mean you can FIGHT!..and that's my favorite thing about fighting.

Hopkins looks every bit as big as Pavlik. I'm still picking HOpkins to get to nod.

Hopkins is a big dude, a legit LHW no doubt. He looks even slightly bigger than Pavlik, whom I think is a big guy himself.

The photo of Hopkins' lips pushed against Pavlik's nose on the ESB front page looks a little uncomfortable.

he is listed as 6' 2½'' on boxrec which is kind of strange. a lot of pavlik fans even claim that he is 6' 3''. interestingly calzaghe was nearly the same height as hopkins, so pavlik - calzaghe would be on eye level with kelly being maybe a half inch taller and not 3,5 inches like the tale of the tape tells.

Watch the weigh-in video. Hopkins is already wearing shoes while Pavlik is still in socks.

Pavlik is 1 and half inch taller than Hops.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. With Pavlik's frame he could easily make the jump to heavy weight if he wanted to (over a few years). I predict he wins a HW title within 5 years.
