I hope Pavlik flattens BHOP. Just tired of hearing BHOP do all the talking when he can't do the walking. BHOP is not fun to watch.:deal

I predict we will see a more eager Hopkins than was the case against Calzaghe. Hopkins had the advantage against Calzaghe but took his foot off the gas & suffered the consequences for it. Hopkins is a smart fighter, he will know he cannot afford to tire like he did last April.

I look for Bernard to assert himself early more, rather than the usual waiting around for his opponent to make a mistake. I think Hopkins will take the fight to Pavlik.

The way some people in the boxing fraternity have just cast Bernard's chances of winning this one is an insult to the man himself. Its just plain ignorance.

Pavlik looks to have a little excess weight, but I guess that's to expected with the added weight. Pavlik looks like he doesn't lift much weights. I look for Hopkins to go to the body, look for the left hook to the liver.

Pavlik better be prepared to face every trick in the book. We know Hopkins will use tactics, even some dirty ones, in roder to win. Besides, this is boxing, not fcuking snooker.

    Please

Please let there be a Hopkins victory so all the critics who slag him off will have to eat humble pie. If he does win, people better not try taking the win away from Hopkins by saying Pavlik was overrated.

pavlik is looking small and does not look that good at 170 he is carrying a bit of fat and does not look like he had to cut down much to make weight.

BHOP looks in shape but that is not something new.

Even if he could bulk up, with Pavlik's style he'd get murdered at heavyweight. When a smaller guy moves up to heavy he needs to be slick, not a stand up attack oriented slugger. Those big guys will find him easily and his chin isn't all that either.

Remember when Jirov tried to move up to heavy? And he was a cruiser!

Pavlik should go no higher than light heavy.

Pavlik hasn't been a slick fighter recently because he basically hasn't really needed to be. The guy is actually a slick fighter and a good boxer, which is exactly why I think he could make a move up in weight. You might be right about Light Heavy, but there is only one why to know for sure.

hopkins looks taller because he had shoes on and pavlik did not. I've been a fan of B Hop for over 15 yrs (i'm a philly kid)
but B Hop is going down and he can't get up. B hop bit off more than he could chew by facing this beast at this x in his career. B Hop will do every thing he can to delay the inevitable by holding, faking injury or complaining to the ref.
His only hope is if Kelly gets seriously sick before the fight. And i mean seriously sick. Because if it's just a virus or he comes down with the runs he'll still kick B hop's ass. The runs might be a problem because kelly would have to make quick work of B Hop; but if faced with that dilemma I think kelly could still get the deal done. He would have to skip the interview though.

Same for Hatton/Mayweather, you would look at that fight's weigh-in and think Hatton already won.
