    Glove dispute. Rough Google Translation:

Boxing fans are still fresh in the memory of the confusion associated with the gloves on the occasion of the king of the heavyweight fight Vladimir Klitschko (59-3, 50 KOs) with Mariusz Wach, and today the balance before Saturday's gala in Mannheim gloves dispute erupted between the "Dr. Steel Hammer "Saturday and his rival Francesco Pianety (28-0-1, 15 KOs).

Camp claimant challenged the gloves provided by the organizers of the match, it turned out that even though they are the same company as gloves champion (Grant), then they are much softer. People Pianety allegedly tried to communicate to them exactly the same as Kliczce gloves, but in response were told that these gloves are only two pairs and they are designed to champion.

    Original:

Even with the translation I still can't figure out what the problem was? Was Pianeta saying his gloves were too soft? That's what it appears to be, but I can't tell for sure.

Pianeta looks smaller than 240 for some reason...

What other divisions has a 6'7 240+ monster who strikes fear in everyone's heart? No seriously, guys come out OPENLY and state they're not ready for a fight with Wlad. What's Wlad supposed to do? Not fight? The state of the heavyweight division is not his fault. He has every right to stay busy against someone decently ranked when no other fights are available. At least Pianeta is In shape and undefeated. He's not fighting an overweight, fat lazy guy at the very least. Name ONE HW champion in the history of boxing who hasn't made a title defense against a guy like Pianeta. Please do.... Ill wait...

The top 10 guys simply do NOT want to fight or aren't ready yet, at least not for a May 4th fight. That's not his fault. If Anyrhing he should be praised for absolutely cleaning out the division years prior. Do you ever think that instead of Wlad "cherry picking a bum who hasn't beaten a top 50 fighter as a voluntary defense" , he's simply staying busy because after beating all of his mandatories, when time came to choose a new opponent, no one was willing to fight?

Povetkin for example. Olympic gold medalist, very skilled HW, ranked in the top 10 for years..... Ducked him for TWO years, and wanted absolutely no part of him until this year after racking up some defenses and gaining experiences.

Guys think they can beat Floyd, Manny, Donaire; and there IS ton of competition in all or their divisions and fighters to choose from...... Wlad on the other hand, guys simply DO NOT think they can beat him and there is a very, very small amount of opponents to choose from. Pulev, another Olympic fighter, very skilled, top ranked HW, has said he wants to defend his EBU title a couple times before he steps in with Wlad (and thas one of his biggest threats) do you think that is by accident???? NO.

Look at the top 10 HWS in the world and name ONE that would of accepted a title fight with Wlad on may 4th. (In b4 David Haye).... And besides, ALmost all of the top 10 HWs are busy with another fight at the moment anyway. So again I ask you, who else was he supposed to fight? Do you think he should just NOT fight because "Owned" on NSB says no? No, he fights the best available guy and that guy happened to be Pianeta. And again, at LEAST he's an in shape guy who is undefeated.

ps I copied this from King (a good poster)

Dzemski (Pianetas trainer) claims that Wladimir wants to fight with a completly different glove. A very hard (he says too hard) puncher glove although different gloves where choosen before. He dont likes that Wladimir should be allowed to fight with a hard puncher gloves and Pianeta just with a very soft glove.
Dzemski knows how to spread excitement about the gloves of the opponent. he did the same when Stieglitz fought Abraham. But when it is true that Wladimir choosed a different and too hard glove he is right. He said that booth fighters agreed to fight with the same glove yet Wladimirs glove is completly different.

So they're both gonna wear Grant gloves but Pianeta's gloves are softer than Wlad's? That's weird. Fighters normally choose gloves very early, often during the opening press conference.

This is what Pianetas trainer says. They choosed Gloves before but now Wladimir wants to fight with different gloves. He also says that Wladimirs gloves are too hard. They already choosed gloves but Wladimir has different Gloves now.

This can be a big deal. It cant be that the Champion is allowed to fight with ultra hard punching gloves and the contender just with soft ass gloves.

Wlad wants to use different gloves than the ones they chose early on? That's not right. They usually choose the gloves then place them in a bag that commission keeps until the day of the fight. If this is true then it's a disgrace.

This is what Pianetas trainer claims. Who knows what the truth is. But I dont think Dzemski would lie to the press.

The german commission will clear it up. You can't just change gloves at the last minute like that.

Sure Wlad's camp doesn't have to resort to tactics like that against PIANETA?!

Let's see how this is going to play out.

Dzemski even said that the fight wont happen if Wladimir fights with these gloves. I am not sure if he is serious or not. Man Dzemski knows how do spread "buzz" about Gloves.:!:

Wlad a greedy crook. Trying to cheat against Pianeta. Pianeta is total trash and this fight is a disgrace to boxing. You all go ahead and watch this garbage. It would be funny as hell if Pianeta hit Wlad with a lucky shot and koed him.
