It’s not about weight cutting, it’s about a lot of things. Weight cutting happens to be one of the advantages a fighter can have.

Lool funny you make this about haymon fighters. Willie nelson fights at 154 because he can make 154 why is that hard to understand?

looool at hiding, so are those guys hiding from the bigger men, whatever you say about Haymon guys you have to say the same about the guys you say they are ducking.

The problem is that they introduced a change badly. Before, with same day weigh ins, you'd have to "weigh" your options between gaining an advantage versus negative effect on your performance. Is it worth it?

Of course we know what used to happen, they had to do something. Their solution? Just shift the weigh in one day back. What a shitty and lazy solution that is, that introduces even more problems.

How is it I can ignore something if I am rebutting it, surely I would have to read it in order to offer a retort. You are free to give your opinion of course, just coz I don’t agree with doesn’t mean i am ignoring it.

By ignoring the issue and moving the the fight a day over, they've actually made it easier for weight bullys ironically.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but sometimes/often its about laziness.
James Toney, Ricky Hatton, even James Kirkland...those guys gained weight because they were addicted to food.:eatingburger
We don't call that weight bullying when HW's like Arreola does it, we call that being undisciplined & stupid.
To this day, I don't entirely give credit to RJJ for beating JT...he was like 190lbs with about 3 weeks to fight time. Not RJJ's fault, but it did lessen the victory for those who knew...Roy knew that.

Toney should have kept his fat ass in shape, it’s messed up for real but Sun Tzu art of war says always strike when the enemy is at his weakest.

Oh for sure,Canelo making weight was always worth tuning for,it’s one of the seven wonders of the world actually, you’re dead right some of those weight cuts he did, turning up,crammed as **** and looking gaunt must take so much outta you long term as this was extreme stuff, forcing a young body to dry up with all the medical, physical stuff as well pushing it as far as you can.
Don’t like it but I admire his professionalism at making weight, diuretics aside lol
