Is it me or is that "catch weight" garbage nothing but nonsense? I mean since when did fighters get to get paid millions for not being able to make the proper weight class? This is making me sick. I mean BHop is making a living out of this 170 BS or whatever. IMO, if you cant make 1 class, then fight in the next. I think the athletic commissions should put a stop to it. I mean when they do it the belts/titles are not at stake, so whats the point? I mean I know the belts don't mean everything, but I wish fighters would stop trying to abuse the system for nothing but their own financial benefit.

I think its ridiculous that the weight classes are not enforced and fights permitted at "catch weights".

Who really cares, most titles mean jack nowadays its fighters who make the fights and if they can only happen at a catchweight then i have no problem with it if it provides a good fight.

The weight classes do more than separate belts. Why cant they just use weight classes instead of screwing everything up? Its not hard to have a class to make and stick to it. If you cant make 1, then move up. No more of the BS about creating your own weight class because you cannot make the one you want and are too scared to move up.

I dunno why they don't just go 5s, I mean I've seen more fights at 170 this year then I've ever seen in my entire time as a boxing fan.

I dont really care either way. With four ****ing belts and super champions and interim titles and mandatories and title eliminators, I just want to see the best fighters fight each other.

    That's true. Good point.

Sides most guys bounce around in weight classes so much that it doesn't matter either way. I mean look at Pavlik's last few fights.

160,166,160,170...nobody stays in one class anymore.
