hindsight......Oscar came as a skeleton and managed to actualy weigh less than Pac on fight night....terrible fight.

*******s ought to be ashamed of themselves for cheering on a malnourished fighter getting whooped on.

Do you laugh when homeless people are beat on in the streets too? Do you consider those great victories?

I said for the longest time that Oscar would never return to 147, and if he did, it would compromise his performance.

That said, I was shocked just how awful Oscar looked that night. I still thought he would be too big for Manny.

Funny how back then people said dropping 7 pounds since facing Floyd and 3 pounds since facing Forbes wasn't going to be that big of a deal.

Now, catchweights that are a 1 or 2 pound difference from the division limit receive massive attention and some people entirely discredit performances on it.

DLH was 154 champ. He went up to win another title. Its not a matter of where he wanted to fight Oscar.

Although De La Hoya has said he planned to return to the welterweight division and Mayweather is the welterweight world champion, Schaefer said the weight for a rematch hadn't been determined. He said it could be at a catch weight somewhere between the 147-pound welterweight division and 154-pound junior middleweight class.
