This has crossed my mind on several occasions.
Who would win a fighter in his absolute prime or the same fighter now that has gone up several divisions who isn't quite the same?

Here are a few that make my point pick who you think wins

A peak welter weight Felix Trinidad
    vs.
A slightly ring rusty maybe past but in his next fight fights as high as 172lbs
Now trinidad in his welter days was very good and is not that good now but with an extra almost 2 stones this trinidad probably beats a peak one.

    another one is
A peak middle weight roy jones
    vs
the light heavy roy jones right now who is no where near as good as he was but would have a 15 pound weight advantage
this time i side with the peak jones as he was so much better at middleweight that the weight wouldnt matter.
this is an interesting point try come up with some as it could be a good talking point.

Light Heavyweight Jones would be installed as a big time favourite against a Middleweight Jones... and rightfully so.

You ****in moron. Middleweight Jones was awesome, you really think he couldn't put on 15 pounds and spank Jones now?

I can only hope you meant a prime light heavyweight Jones, having not read the post properly. But even then, you make no ****ing sense. Middleweight Jones moving up to fight Light heavyweight Jones, is exactly the same version of the same fighter dickface. Kinda like saying that 147 Floyd would spank 140 Floyd if that Floyd moved up.

    DUMBASS

    I'm a ****ing moron?

You would put 160 pound Jones against 175 pound Jones, both at their best, and expect the Middleweight to win? Laughable. The fact that you think this speaks for itself. I don't need to humiliate you, you've done it yourself.

Edit: If Middleweight Jones put on 15 pounds to fight Light Heavyweight Jones... he would BE Light Heavyweight Jones. Sigh... it's sad that I really have to explain this. If Middleweight Jones puts on 15 pounds, he's NOT Middleweight Jones. Comprehend?

*******, the thread is asking about a fighter putting weight on to face an older, heavier version of himself. Not the ridiculously stupid question that ''does a 130 pound fighter beat a 154 pound version of himself? ie Floyd.

Its pretty simple really, its asking that if a prime MW Jones was to bulk up to LH, could he beat the present, shot LH Jones?

Nope. That's all I need to say. You've made a fool of yourself and you know it.
