weighted gloves

    wat weight do you guys use when training? i use 16 but i was thining about gettin 20+ wat do you guys think? good idea or no?

    some will disagree but i think its good because it makes 10 oz feel like nothing

    I don't really think it's necessary. Personally I use 14 and 16oz for sparring, 14oz for bag and 10oz on mitts. In periods I use small weights (1kg) when shadowboxing.

    Im gonna buy some 14/16s
    Thats aite for me
    I might get heavier ones later if i think i can handle these lol

    I use 10 or 12oz for bag and mitts, 18oz for sparring. The 18s were an impulse buy, I needed a new pair and I found some I liked that were 18. I figured that the extra 2oz probably wouldn't make a huge amount of difference but might give me some conditioning benefit.

    How big are you? I'm 6'1, 210lbs and the 18s look massive on me.

    I think 16s, or maybe 18s if you want, would be big enough.

    they are good in building strength but regardless they put heavy stress on your shoulder and eblow joints
