gloves impede grip strength they don't let you grip more, or hold more, it makes whatever you are gripping thicker hence harder to hold, and you don't work your grip as much as you would RAW DOG
My hands get sweaty during workouts, which makes my grip zero. A pair of gloves with a leather palm gives me tons of grip.
I don't lift weights anyway. At work (heavy manual labor, I see it as strength training) I wear gloves because everything has sharp edges and steel splinters sticking out :bart
LOL WITHOUT WEIGHT U WILL NVR B GR8 goddamn slack jawed ****** doucheman! Yes I'm avoiding my coursework by dissing undeserving folk online, what of it? Big whoop, wannafightaboudit? gloves for PROTECTION is another thing, when I do any manual labour and don't wear gloves I always end up with some nasty blisters at the end which only impede the next day's work. Gloves stop me from getting huge caluses(sp?). I lift for a shorter period of time because of them. Gloves help me lift for longer and higher weight. Maybe if you shifted some real weight rakim youd purchase a pair of gloves yourself! You see me on that deadlift today! This content is protected You.
Thicker by about half a millimetre. I'm pretty sure the fact that there's no pain and no slippery sweat more than makes up for that tiny amount of thickness.
