Anyone have experience with these things?

At first glance, I would think they could cause signifigant joint stress if you tried to run or bounce around with these things on. But I was thinking of picking one up to jog lightly in, as a way for preparing to run in the military with large packs on my back and so forth. Maybe do some plyos with them.

    What do you think?

I use one when running and jumping rope. All it adds is more resistance, so your muscles work a bit harder. It 'aint magic!

I remember this dude in highschool used to wear one all day to supposedly help him with wrestling.

I think they are supposed to be alot better than those wrist or ankle weights which are bad for your joints.
