Nvm you can do that, just wouldn't suggest mixing a bunch of creatine products together and such

    Creatine powder is tasteless.

No reason why you can't mix supplement powders.

    Whey isolate > whey concentrate.

And buy Muscle Milk because it tastes good and masks any other taste by being tasty, if you buy the bulk unflavoured stuff from myprotein there will come a point where you won't like the taste and you will stop taking it because you are an undisciplined ****.

    :D

Does Muscle Milk have whey isolate in it? Or do I need to buy Creapure, whey isolate, and muscle milk?! This is ****ing confusing. And yes, I'll probably have given up on this whole thing before I even get around to buying the ****ing stuff at this rate.

mr small is right...u can mix proteins...that is fine...what u want to do is go to bodybuilding.com and pick up a 10 pounds bag of optimum nutrition 100 percent whey...it contains whey isolate at the primary ingredient which is the purest form and best digesting protein...the body absorbs this the best...whey concentrate is in there as well..the problem with concentrate is that there are a lot of binders and fillers in it...thats why its cheap...u also get what u pay for... thats why when looking for protein make sure the primary ingredient is whey isolate..now...before bed i would recommend casein protein...it is slower digesting and will keep ur muscles fueled when you sleep...ok and the creatine...mr small is again correct...if u get a creatine monohydrate u cant even taste it...mix it with some juice after a workout...the simple sugars in the juice will spike your glucose...which is very good after a workout...if i were u i would look into is creatine ethyl ester....it is better absorbing and doesnt hold water outside the muscle fibers giving u that bloated look...last and not least is creatine and protein together....there is no reason u cannot take the two together...now taking them at the exact same time is something u want to avoid...if ur going to "stack" the two...what i would do is take ur creatine after ur workout and wait ahalf hour to take your protein...the reason for this is that the creatine will bind to the protein and ultimately not digest and absorb into your system as well as it would if u were to take them seperately...hope this helps...if u want i would call bodybuilding.com at 1877-991-3411...they have a great staff and r open 24 hours...they will help u with any question u may have

Cheers mate, very helpful. I think I'm either going to have to ring someone, or just buy the first thing I see on the internet, this is ridiculously confusing.

Nah mate muscle milk has whey isolate in it.

I mean IN GENERAL, whey isolate is superior to whey concentrate for a few reasons.

Muscle milk = protein powder / weight gainer, it will do the job for you.
Reason I'm banging on about it is that it tastes nice and is less of a chore to get your shake in.

So following a combination of a few separate pieces of advice..... I should buy muscle milk and Creapure, then take the Creapure mixed with fruit juice straight after a workout, and the Muscle Milk about half an hour later?

The only supliment you need is to stop being fat.

Serr dog, go into holland and barret and use their protein powder, they do some decent deals like 2 for 1. That way me and you can go halvsies because I'm almost out.

It won't help you in any way shape or form but it will save me money.

Oh and I've also got some creatine tabs I don't use anymore. You can have them and see if there any good before you shell out for some.

Holland and Barrett protein is ****ing ****, sorry Glen but from what I saw it had a lot of **** in it!

Rakim, you do whatever you like, those are the supps.
What I reccommend is have 6 eggs + muscle milk + creapure.
What you can do is, fruit juice + fruit flavoured muscle milk + creapure.

It makes no difference taking them separately. Just take that post workout.

Good healthy fats, good protein, makes it a bit milkshake-y if you try to imagine it hard enough, milk gives me acne, fruit juice in a protein shake kind of defeats the object of protein shake to me.
