Weird… itauma’s opinion on Chins seems to differ depending on who’s chin is being talked about!

    Huh… WEIRD. Soo a good chin is a ‘Gift’ for Joyce but not so much for Filip??

    You are framing this totally wrong. If you watch the video, Itauma clearly said Joyce's ability to absorb so many shots either comes down to his great chin or Hrgovic's power being overrated. He didn't even say anything about Hrgovic's chin being worse or better. Itauma did say his chin wouldn't matter in the buildup to the fight, but that was clearly overconfidence, and that's why he threw haymakers in the 9th; he really thought he was that guy to break Hrgovic's chin.

    But back to the point Ituama is making in the video, this is a post-Zhang Joyce. Joyce was laid out flat on the ground after the rematch, and Joyce was knocked down by Chisora in his previous fight. His chin was clearly dented, so Itauma is right that Hrgovic's power is overrated by casuals and boxing pundits. Hrgovic (with Abel Sanchez) is a volume puncher; that's how he wins fights.

    Hrgovic did win the fight 96–94, so Itauma is wrong on the scoring department.

    Yeah I misunderstood what itauma said. Fair enough. BUT… They all seemed to be IN AWE of Joyce’s chin rather than Filip’s pressure and work rate and… HIS CHIN as well! Lol Even moses here seemed to be in awe of the fact that Joyce stood up to those shots while basically scoffing at the notion of Filip having an iron jaw in the lead up to this fight!

    Basically Filip not getting the full credit he deserves has gotten old and this clip is an example. Hrgovic got nailed with some bombs in this fight too be a strong 270lb fighter.
